Fifth, the benefits of liberation. Fifth, the benefits of liberation. Now that we have turned our minds away from all samsara, we must seek a place to go, so we must contemplate the benefits of liberation. In this way, with four kinds of turning away from the mind, we turn our minds away from all samsara and contemplate the benefits of liberation. Before, we thought of samsara as happiness and did not see suffering, but now, contemplating the faults of samsara, we remember the benefits of liberation, and we remember the qualities of the three Bodhis, such as the peace, coolness, and vastness of those qualities, and the qualities of abandonment and realization. If we make a choice in that, we must accomplish the state of omniscience, thinking of the difficulty of finding leisure and so on, and remembering the benefits of the difficulty of obtaining it and so on. From taking refuge and so on, we must remember the actual qualities and so on. Now, to accomplish the state of liberation, the three Bodhis, it is included in the stages of the path of the three persons, so we must remember the stages of the path of the three persons. For this, the support of the path of liberation, the three Bodhis, must be obtained, so we must practice the stages of the path of the inferior person. For this, the vehicle of the worldly path, the motivation is the motivation of seeking higher rebirth, the root of virtue is the part that is in accordance with merit or the action of accomplishing existence. The view is the correct view of the worldly. If we summarize those roots of virtue, they are not seized by the thought of renunciation, they are not seized by the view of emptiness. If we cultivate the root of virtue, whether large or small, that is not seized by the mind of enlightenment, it is the root of virtue of the inferior person. If we cultivate the correct view of the worldly, the result is the attainment of the state of gods and humans. What is the stage of the path of the intermediate person like? It is the content of the Buddha's teachings, the Dharma that transcends the world. The motivation is the thought of self-interest, which is the motivation. The root of virtue is the part that is in accordance with the liberation of the Hinayana. The Dharma of the scriptures is the three baskets. The Dharma of realization is the three trainings. The meaning of the Vinaya is the training of morality and so on, which is the training of morality. The meaning of the Sutra is the contemplation of impurity and so on, which is the training of concentration. The meaning of the Abhidhamma is, if we examine where the so-called person, the self, exists, if we examine whether the five aggregates and the six elements and so on are one or different, we realize that there is no self of the person. We realize that there is no coarse self of the Dharma. This is the training of wisdom, so it must be long-term, three lifetimes and a hundred years.

Through familiarization, we and others attain the fruit of the Arhat with remainder and without remainder. The view of the Pratyekabuddha is similar to that of the Shravaka, except for a slight difference. In short, it is seized by the thought of renunciation. Whatever great or small virtue is cultivated, seized by the realization of a limited emptiness, but not seized by the mind of enlightenment, is a virtue that is in accordance with the lesser vehicle's liberation. Look at the present body to see what was done in the past. Therefore, because great virtue was cultivated in the previous life, this present body was obtained. Where one will be born in the future depends on the actions of the present. Therefore, since it depends on oneself, there is no need to cultivate one's own higher realms and the paths of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. If one needs to cultivate something, one must enter the path of the Great Person and attain the state of Buddhahood. To accomplish that, one must enter the path of the Great Person. That is the Buddha's teaching, the Great Vehicle, the stages of the path of the Great Person, the motivation of the mind of enlightenment, what is the virtue of the Great Vehicle's liberation? The two accumulations of the long path, the two stages of generation and completion of the near path, the two of the quick path, the original purity of Trekchö and the spontaneous Thögal, that is, if one realizes and meditates on the view of the three great views to the end, in the Sutra system one attains Buddhahood, and in the Tantra system one attains the state of union Vajradhara, which is the fruit. In short, whatever great or small virtue is cultivated, seized by the thought of renunciation, seized by the wisdom of realizing the two selflessnesses, and seized by the mind of enlightenment, is a virtue that is in accordance with the Great Vehicle's liberation. Having made a choice about this, among the three paths of the long path, the near path, and the quick path, one must meditate on the quick path, the Great Perfection of Clear Light. The long path is to perfect the vast ocean-like practice of ripening and purifying for three countless eons, etc., through the Characteristic Vehicle, as explained in the Prayer of Good Conduct. One ripens sentient beings like an ocean, purifies realms like an ocean, and makes offerings to Buddhas like an ocean, without making them tired, making them happy, and without perfecting the ocean of the two accumulations, one cannot attain Buddhahood. The near path is the Vajrayana, which first ripens the three classes of Kriya, etc., with the common five family empowerments, and then binds the continuum with the vows of purifying one's own path.
