The places of aging, the youth that makes one fat, and the act of doing as I please, are all doors to doing things without purpose. As it is said, even if one falls into the lower realms and is immersed in them, it is slightly superior to ordinary beings in the lower realms and ordinary human bodies, because it possesses the seed of liberation, so it is called a special human body. As stated in the Akashagarbha Sutra: In the realm of sentient beings, whether or not they have entered this Dharma, even if they have entered, they engage in a mixture of good and evil deeds, indulging in noise and distraction, not protecting body, speech, and mind, wandering aimlessly, falling into the three lower realms, and those whose actions lead them to be immersed in evil destinies, are also seen by the light of the Buddha's compassion, and after a long time, they possess the seed of liberation. Therefore, it is called a special human body. Thus it is said. Secondly, the explanation of the eight unfavorable states of unfreedom is divided into three parts: the general explanation, the detailed explanation, and the conclusion. The first is the general explanation: In this way, destroying the mindstream with unwholesome thoughts and actions, and making leisure and endowment meaningless, one will fall from this high place back to a bad place. Where? That is, wandering in the three lower realms, the gods without perception, the borderlands, the places where the senses are incomplete, the places where views are perverted, and the places where Buddhas do not appear. The second is the detailed explanation, which is divided into two parts: explaining the unfreedom of non-humans and the unfreedom of becoming human. First, there are four types of unfreedom of non-humans: hells, pretas, animals, and long-lived gods. The first is hell: In this way, even for a moment, there is no opportunity to find rest or relaxation, on the ground of burning iron, the wardens of hell holding fierce weapons such as swords and hammers, who are extremely hateful, and the rain of fire weapons and other things falling, not just once but repeatedly taking lives, inflicting intense suffering, and the hell beings who cannot die until the ripening of past evil karma is exhausted, still create similar causes, get caught in the net of the evil karma of anger, and the length of life is immeasurable. By this example, even if one is born in places such as the cold hells, one cannot practice the Dharma.

There is no opportunity to have leisure as a refuge. Second, the pretas: The pretas with common obscurations, who cannot even find impure things such as pus, blood, and feces, suffer from hunger and thirst due to lack of food and drink, needless to say. Those with external obscurations find that even rivers, trees, and crops dry up as soon as they look at them. When they see many enjoyments of food and drink and approach them, they are guarded by many armed men who do not allow them to enjoy them. Those with internal obscurations have mouths the size of needles and stomachs the size of valleys, and their heads and bodies are disproportionate. When they eat or drink a little, they experience unbearable suffering from the burning of their internal organs. Those with special burden obscurations have many things gathered on one body, tumors growing in their throats, and they gather on each other's faces, feeding on the pus and blood from wounds, and so on. Those who roam in the sky, such as the btsan spirits and theurang spirits, are constantly tormented by fear and experience the suffering of their previous deaths every seven days, and they fall into hell immediately after death due to evil thoughts towards others, and so on. In general, the lifespan of pretas is said to be five hundred years, with one day of human beings counted as one month. But specifically, due to the obscurations of their respective past karmas, there is no certainty about the length of their lives. Third, animals: Even if one is reborn in the realm of animals or non-human beings, those who live in the great ocean, the larger ones eat the smaller ones, fish eat fish, and fish eat shrimp. The larger ones swallow many smaller ones, like the water of the ocean. Many smaller fish build nests on the bodies of the larger ones and pierce them, eating each other in this way. For those scattered, ownerless wild animals and beasts, hunters use traps, snares, poisoned arrows, and other killing methods to control them in order to obtain their horns, skins, meat, and so on, subjecting them to others and cruelly taking their lives, and so on. And being owned by humans, etc.

Listen carefully, do not block the mind. Listening is to block the mind, and blocking the mind is: ordinary beings enter into it, but noble ones do not; when blocking the mind, noble ones enter, but ordinary beings cannot. Furthermore, the state of non-perception is mistaken by outsiders as the path to liberation, and they cultivate it. As for cessation, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas enter into it for the sake of dwelling in bliss in this very life, and the Bodhisattva Aryas enter into it in order to practice meditation. Second, there are four types of humans who are not free to practice: barbarians, mutes, those with wrong views, and those in dark ages. The first is: although they have the appearance of humans and walk on two legs, they are like people of the water or forest, fundamentally ignorant of the Dharma, like animals. Their consciousness is controlled and bound by non-virtuous deeds, and they are focused on committing sinful actions. Therefore, those self-proclaimed barbarians are more confused than animals, extremely disordered in what to accept and reject, like being lost in a dense forest, unable to find the path to liberation. Alternatively, the places where these people live are mostly forests, so they are called that, meaning they are not free to practice. The second is the mute: here it is described with an exaggerated rhetoric, from the eyes to the mind, the six senses each make vows, such as the eyes seeing forms, etc., but they lose the ability to speak and cannot express their own meaning. Especially those mutes who are very dull-witted. Even if they encounter a spiritual friend who abides in the noble state, who guides beings to liberation, and hear the Dharma, due to the defect of the listener's own impaired senses, the words spoken by the speaker are like the echo of a stone, like the noisy sounds made by birds. Because they cannot understand the meaning through language, the listener loses the opportunity to practice the path of acceptance and rejection, and can only suffer various torments for a long time in the wilderness of samsara, like a huge desolate temple, unable to attain the state of liberation and nirvana, therefore they are not free to practice. The third is those with wrong views: due to the power of karma and afflictions, in samsara...

Like crossing the vast ocean of the boundless nature of wisdom, the great ship to reach the island of liberation, having obtained a human body, complete senses, possessing discernment, and able to wave the banner of wisdom towards the direction of liberation. However, being disturbed by the wrong views that spoil the good basis, even if the Buddha descends into the world and teaches the correct Dharma, one does not practice the path of liberation that brings joy. Claiming that there is no afterlife, etc., those non-Buddhists who hold wrong views or belong to their group, those who do not believe in the Three Jewels, these people are tormented by the demons who obstruct the path to liberation, controlled by demons, even if they have a good body, they have no leisure. The fourth is the Dark Age: When the Buddha descends into the world, there is also the light of the teachings, so it is called the Age of Lamps. From the formation of a kalpa to its destruction, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Gitas, have abandoned it, that is, the time when not a single Buddha has descended, at that time there is no light of the teachings, so it is called the Dark Age, at that time, even if one obtains a human body, it is useless. For example, if a person with a broken leg falls into a dark, dense abyss, even if he tries to stand up again, he cannot see the road, and he has no legs to walk, so he cannot escape. There is no light of the path of liberation, and one is separated from the three trainings of liberation, and one continuously possesses the inverted path generated by ignorance and afflictions, then one will fall into a terrible situation, not only unable to liberate, but also from animals to hell, going lower and lower. This is going from darkness to darkness in the four streams of existence, so it is a time of no leisure. Furthermore, in the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel it says: The five poisons are in turmoil, the foolish and ignorant are possessed by demons, the lazy, evil deeds arise like a great ocean, controlled by others, fearing protection, pretending to be Dharma, these are the eight kinds of no leisure caused by sudden events. Not a vessel for the Dharma of the path of liberation, completely inverted. Also, bondage, vows are not firm, behavior is extremely bad, not weary of samsara, no faith at all, not doing good, doing evil, towards the Dharma
