Upon seeing, may one obtain the seven noble riches. Upon seeing the prostration, may one generate the mind wishing to obtain the invisible crown that is revered by the world including the gods. Furthermore, one should feel weary of all meaningless distractions and keep impermanence in mind. When distractions arise due to drawing on the ground, idle chatter, or conceptual thoughts, one should immediately abandon them with mindfulness and awareness, and transform all actions of body, speech, and mind's conceptual thoughts into Dharma. When sleeping at night, one should lie down on the right side, with the head facing north, remembering death, considering the Three Jewels as a pillow, and resting the mind in the state of Dharma-nature like the sky. As it is said in the "Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life": "Like the Sugata lying down in nirvana, one should lie down facing the direction one desires." One should act in this way. Furthermore, day and night, one should recite prayers such as the "Noble Excellent Conduct Prayer" or the seventy aspirations composed by the teacher Melodious Voice, who is skilled in benefiting others, in the presence of images and stupas. This is taught in twenty verses, as stated in the "Garland of Jewels": I take refuge in the Buddha, the sacred Dharma, and the Sangha, and also in all the Bodhisattvas. I take refuge in all ways, and I prostrate to those worthy of offerings. I shall diligently refrain from evil deeds, and completely embrace all virtuous actions. I rejoice in all the merit of all sentient beings. I bow with reverence and folded hands, requesting the perfect Buddhas to turn the wheel of Dharma and to remain until the end of samsara. By the merit of doing so, and by whatever I have done or not done, may all sentient beings possess the supreme mind of enlightenment. May all sentient beings be stainless and free, perfectly endowed with all favorable conditions and free from unfavorable ones, may their conduct be independent and may they be endowed with a good life. May all beings possess jewels in their hands, may all their resources be limitless, and may their existence in samsara never be exhausted. May all women at all times be transformed into excellent beings. May all sentient beings possess intelligence and strength in their feet. May sentient beings possess beautiful colors, excellent forms, great splendor, be pleasing to behold, and be without disease.

May I possess great power and long life! May all be skilled in means, liberated from suffering and fear, devoted to the Three Jewels, and possess great wealth of Dharma! May they possess loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity, abandoning afflictions, and be adorned with generosity, ethics, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom. May all assemblies be perfectly complete, with clear marks and signs, and may they obtain the ten inconceivable grounds and powers! May I and all others be adorned with these qualities, freed from all faults, and may all sentient beings have supreme love, and may all sentient beings have their wishes fulfilled. May I accomplish all virtuous deeds, and may I always eliminate the suffering of all beings! Whoever in all the world is saddened by fear, may they be free from all fear even by hearing my name! May beings, by merely seeing me, remembering me, or hearing my name, attain the supreme, undisturbed, genuine, and complete enlightenment, and may they follow me in all lifetimes, obtaining the five kinds of clairvoyance! May I always benefit and bring happiness to all sentient beings in every way! Whoever in the world intends to do evil, may all of them be unharmed and always immediately prevented! May I be like the earth, water, fire, and wind, like medicine and the trees of monasteries, always available for all sentient beings to use freely without hindrance! Sentient beings are as precious as life; may they be even more precious to me! May I bear their sins, and may all my virtues ripen in them! Until any sentient being is not liberated, even if I attain unsurpassed enlightenment, may I remain here! By reciting this three times during the day and three times during the night, one obtains immeasurable merit. From that very text: Therefore, in front of an image of the Buddha, a stupa, or anywhere else, these twenty verses should be recited three times day and night. And: Whatever merit is gained by reciting this, if it had form, even realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges could not contain it. This was spoken by the Bhagavan. Furthermore, Bodhi

One should spend days and nights learning as it arises from the Bodhisattva Pitaka and the Sutras. Why is that?
