Po Tri Songtsen was an emanation of Avalokiteśvara, and abandoning miserliness, etc. Those around him had weak voices and lacked the dhāraṇī of not forgetting. For those with determination, these are words that represent a method of concealing and combining meanings. That which possesses the meaning of the name "Precious Jewel" and is beautifully adorned is: The lineage of the three kāyas' teachings, The instructions of the supreme guru Kukkurāja. For those who possess the measure of self-awareness experience, with compassion as the motivation. Like churning the essence of the ocean and gathering it, a precious jewel arises. Like a swan taking milk from the joyful ocean. By extracting the essence of the teachings and condensing the meaning, may this virtue. May all sentient beings have faith in the true meaning and be liberated from delusion in the present moment. The Jewel Ornament was composed by the ācārya teacher Śrīpāla Siṃha Siṃha Prabha's Light. The Indian scholar himself, and the Tibetan translator, the monk Vairochana, requested it at the assembly hall of Dhāhena and translated it into Tibetan, recording it without error.
