Various views, such as engaging with improper attention, are distracted by the waters of ignorance and separated from the nectar yoga of the essence of speech. Those foolish ones who do not consult a definitive lama, concealing and hiding with their own wisdom, indulging in it for a long time, engaging in meaningless debates and mediations, but failing to gain certainty, therefore holding different views and tormented by doubt, being carried away by the power of ignorance into wrong paths, being separated from such teachings, is truly terrifying. Therefore, this profound secret of the heart spoken by the Buddhas, although only the Buddhas can practice it and is not common to ordinary people, through the power of habituation, in a non-contradictory way, diligently proving from reliable scriptures, for the benefit of beings, this supreme path of the two truths is greatly promoted. In order to prevent them from missing these profound teachings in vain, now explaining the nature of dedication: The teachings of the Buddhas are extremely difficult to understand, this pinnacle of the Mahayana, only the Buddhas can practice, therefore it is difficult for everyone to see. This doctrine that is contrary to right view and difficult to understand was realized without error by the teacher Manjushri Mitra, and through the power of habituation wisdom, based on scriptures, oral instructions, root, and branches, extracted from the tantra of this true teaching, for the sake of future beings, written in the form of effortless oral instructions, by the blessing of this, may beings in all lifetimes, in an instant, not be contaminated by wrong views, and may the minds of all the Buddhas fully increase! May such beings, at all times and places, not be robbed by wrong views, and may they obtain the bliss of non-retrogression, and may this teaching appear like the rising sun! However, without this meditation, even if one practices immeasurable virtuous deeds, it is only a ladder to the heavenly realms of the two realms, and one cannot attain perfect complete enlightenment. If someone does not practice in a solitary place, but attains Buddhahood in the center of a city, this has not happened in the past, does not happen now, and will not happen in the future. Therefore, one should practice the supreme meditation. If someone kills as many beings as the sands of the Ganges, the merit obtained from this virtuous act cannot be compared to the merit of meditation. Similarly, if someone offers as many beings as the sands of the Ganges with precious jewels, wealth, superior grains, and possessions, the merit obtained from this generosity cannot be compared to the merit of meditation. Similarly, if someone places as many beings as the sands of the Ganges on the Buddha ground, it cannot be compared to the unconditioned meditation.
