Having completely bestowed the oral instructions, he temporarily commanded that they not be spread in the land of Tibet. Entrusting the guardianship to the twelve steadfast goddesses, he said that in the future, if they are not practiced according to the command, and if the secret mantras are corrupted by the verbal embellishments of the lower vehicles, like mixing butter with inferior oil, there will be no end to the corruption. By covering up the primordial clarity with sound and conceptual thought, the secret mantras will be led astray. By destroying the activities of the mantras with self-made, evil desires, and by breaking the cage of verbal embellishments, when the adornment of actual accomplishment vanishes, then this great teaching, which is the basis of all methods of accomplishment, the general framework of the three aspects of generation and completion, should not be given even for the sake of life to those who are not vessels. If it is given to a few worthy vessels by gradually instructing them in secret, then, like the secret meaning of the field where actual accomplishment turns into supreme greatness, in the degenerate age, the sole representative of the king of vidyādharas, with his unparalleled biography of erudition and accomplishment, the Venerable Pema Osel Do-ngak Lingpa, the crown ornament of all the teachings and beings of the cool land, at the culmination of his profound generation-stage activities, may this great Dharma, the source of the long-lasting manifestation of the precious light of the teachings of King Padma, not be obscured in this land of Tibet in terms of words and meaning. And also, write a concise commentary on this. Thus, with unwavering devotion, offering with sincerity and pure intention, from all aspects, like binding the head with a jewel diadem, I, called Jampal Gyepa, explain the view with reason and logic. As it is said, "Explain the method of accomplishment with practice," if this great method of accomplishment is explained based on the oral instructions of the secret commentary, then the general framework of the method of accomplishment will also be unraveled, and it will also be the unadulterated oral instruction of the eight classes of vidyādharas. Therefore, there will be no difficulty in obtaining actual accomplishment, and since it has a field of profound key points that surpasses others, I have written a summary of the great secret commentary. In the land of Ü, in the solitary place of Taktsang Samdrup, the sacred site where glorious Vajrakila subdued demons and spirits, in the practice chamber that completely overcomes demonic obstacles, the practice rituals of glorious Vajrakila, etc., were written as appropriate. On the full moon day of the Gyal month in the Rabjhung Chakyi horse year, on an auspicious day with the auspicious star and the goddess playing accomplishment, by performing this accomplishment, may the lotus feet of the holders of the Great Secret Essence teachings be firm, may their activities spread in all directions, and may the precious teachings increase greatly in every way! These things that are slightly different from the ritual composed by Humkara are due to the fact that Gara Rinpoche carefully compiled and supplemented them.
