"A Clear Elucidation: A Summary of the Meaning of the Great Secret Commentary on the Explanation of Correct Accomplishment" "A Clear Elucidation: A Summary of the Meaning of the Great Secret Commentary on the Explanation of Correct Accomplishment" All phenomena of appearance are the illusory body of great bliss, Through the union of emptiness, the great mudra, E-VAM (Tibetan: ཨེ་ཝྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: एवं, Sanskrit Romanization: evaṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Thus) indivisible Vajra Heruka, To that Lord who pervades all families, I bow with devotion. Here, the non-dual wisdom of all Buddhas, the play of the glorious Vajra Heruka, the Great Blood Drinker, is deeply praised by the Buddhas and their sons for the attainment of the supreme. It is the essence of the intention of the Vidyadharas of accomplishment. The means of accomplishing the glorious Correct Heruka itself is called Correct Accomplishment. This collection of Vajra words from the tantras, free from fabrication and corruption, was compiled in the grove of Lang by the great Vidyadhara of the transmitted command. Following the clear exposition of the Second Buddha, Padma Thötreng Tsal, through oral instructions, it is explained in brief. It is divided into four parts: the meaning of the title, the homage, the meaning of the main text, and the meaning of the conclusion. First, in Sanskrit: Sam Siddhi Maha Shri Heruka Nobika Nama. In Tibetan: The means of accomplishing the glorious Great Blood Drinker is called Correct Accomplishment. As it is clear from this, a combination of Sanskrit and Tibetan: Śrī (Tibetan: ཤྲཱི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: श्री, Sanskrit Romanization: śrī, Literal Chinese Meaning: glorious) means glorious, Heruka (Tibetan: ཧེ་ར་ཀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हेरुक, Sanskrit Romanization: heruka, Literal Chinese Meaning: Heruka) means Blood Drinker, Mahā (Tibetan: མ་ཧཱ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: महा, Sanskrit Romanization: mahā, Literal Chinese Meaning: great) means great, Nobika (Tibetan: ནོ་པི་ཀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: नोबिक, Sanskrit Romanization: nobika, Literal Chinese Meaning: Nobika) means means of accomplishment, Sam (Tibetan: སཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सम्, Sanskrit Romanization: sam, Literal Chinese Meaning: correct) means correct, Siddhi (Tibetan: སིདྡྷི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सिद्धि, Sanskrit Romanization: siddhi, Literal Chinese Meaning: accomplishment) means accomplishment, Nāma (Tibetan: ནཱ་མ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: नाम, Sanskrit Romanization: nāma, Literal Chinese Meaning: name) means called. Thus, glorious is the nature of non-dual wisdom, endowed with the qualities of fulfilling both purposes. The Great Blood Drinker is as explained later. Relying on the Great Blood Drinker, the activities of manifesting various temporary qualities and ultimately that state are the means of accomplishment. The name of that means of accomplishment is called Correct Accomplishment. How is the definitive Heruka of symbols? It is the supreme wisdom of the intention of all Buddhas, appearing in the form of a blazing wrathful deity, and it is the treasure of both actual accomplishments. This is the meaning of the tantras, and after it is revealed without concealing the sacred oral instructions, it is accomplished according to the vows, not accomplished elsewhere. This means of accomplishment, if practiced according to the vows, will also be correctly accomplished, therefore it is called Correct Accomplishment.

I, or the definitive Heruka, is the true nature of the great bliss, inseparable from the suchness realm and wisdom of all dharmas. This cannot be attained by other inferior paths. Because with the view of the great secret, like a garden spread out, all dharmas are inherently enlightened, therefore it is called truly spread. Second, Homage to the Bhagavan, the Great Blood-Drinker! Thus it is proclaimed, destroying the four maras or possessing the qualities of the five wisdoms of the four bodies, transcending the limits of samsara and nirvana, I prostrate at the feet of the Great Blood-Drinker, thus it is understood. That is, the sound of Heruka is called Blood-Drinker. This, from the point of view of essence, is a category of names that are wonderfully wisdom and compassion. The three syllables of Heruka, from the cause, effect, and essence, are the nature of the three doors of liberation, which are empty in nature, and the wisdom vajra view that is inseparable from emptiness, is the name of the naturally wrathful to the conceptualization of signs. Also, Heruka is the name of Blood-Drinker. Blood is characterized by redness and wetness, and is the nature of being particularly attached to and loving beings who are difficult to subdue. Drinking is the act of naturally enjoying such behavior. With ultimate great wisdom and non-dual love, cutting off the evil karma of samsara with the power of great compassion is the name of wrath. Therefore, the wrathful one is particularly loving to beings who are easy and difficult to subdue, and possesses the profound activities of skillful means of liberation, and is the wonderfulness of wisdom and skillful means of great compassion, etc. As it is said: For those who are extremely difficult to subdue and talk to, peace does not bring benefit, from the yoga of wisdom and skillful means, the wrathful one accomplishes all the deeds of the Tathagata. Just like that. The essence is like that, manifested as a symbolic seal of form, with the appearance of a burning dance and joy, drinking the blood of the heart of all demons and wrong views, therefore it is called Blood-Drinker. From the point of view of common activities, these wrathful ones quickly cut off and dry up the root of the karma of samsara or gather all the afflictions, and the root of samsara containing the moisture of desire, with the sharp power of great compassion, so it is called Blood-Drinker. That is the Heruka's

Meaning of words: Is it the scope and nature of the wrathful deities? It is explained in terms of nature, form, and activity. "Great" means surpassing other great worldly gods, becoming their lord, or it refers to the rare manifestation of wisdom and compassion that tames the untamable, hence it is shown as such. "Three" refers to three aspects: the object to be focused on in practice, the nature of the method of how to practice, and the meaning of the result achieved through such practice. Among these, first is the nature of all Buddhas, the glorious Vajrasattva, or, its appearance as a wrathful form, Vajra Heruka himself. The method of accomplishment is through the yoga of the two stages of generation and completion, diligently perfecting the four approaches and accomplishments. The result of accomplishment is the nature of the inseparability of base and result, the manifestation of the glorious great three bodies. Among these, the result is shown through power, and here are established the two, the object of focus and the method of practice. First: "The true attainment is oneness itself, Buddhas, great bliss, all transcendence, Yoga profound, three bodies complete, Dakini, illusion, supreme bliss, bliss." Thus it is proclaimed. With these verses, one should understand that it shows the nature of the ultimate nature of the two meanings, the glorious great freedom, and the two, that all are enlightened in the nature of the fierce mandala. Among these, as in the first case, the Dharmadhatu is completely pure from adventitious stains, like the sky, it is the true object. Through the wisdom that possesses the object, the attainment that manifests. The nature of the inseparability of the two, Dharmadhatu and wisdom, the indivisible oneness, is the nature of the enjoyment and happiness of the uncontaminated Dharma of all Buddhas in all directions, and the great bliss that transcends all. The profound yoga in which the suchness of all dharmas abides in great equality and is unwavering, thus possessing the complete three bodies of Dharma, Enjoyment, and Emanation, is the perfection of the two accumulations of self and others, and with wisdom and compassion, the magical dance of body, speech, and mind pervades the boundless realm of space, and constantly performs the benefit of those to be tamed, showing the appearance of illusion. This arises from causes and conditions, appears clearly, accomplishes meaning, and if examined, is the reason for emptiness.
