By doing this, this world is destroyed, and the other world is also destroyed. If you really want to help yourself, then you should completely abandon women. This is what is said. It is said in the scriptures that this is because others and future lives are bound by their own wives. Second, one should not look because of attachment. Some people initially try to lift and pull up her face in order to see her face clearly, but she looks down because of shame. The Great Commentary says that this is earlier than going to the cemetery, so whether the bride is seen by others at the wedding or not, she will cover her face with a veil, which is mainly the custom of most nobles in the central region. If you want to see, then why are you now afraid to run away, because you see that afflicted face, just as it appears now, being torn apart by vultures in the cemetery. Third, one should not guard because of jealousy. Even if other men look with their eyes, the body that you guard, if it is constantly devoured by (death), then why don't you, the miserly one, guard it? Fourth, one should not offer with reverence. Seeing this pile of flesh being eaten by vultures and other jackals, why offer flowers, sandalwood, and decorations to someone else's food? Fifth, one should not touch with joy. Seeing it as just a pile of bones in the cemetery, even if it doesn't move, you are afraid. If, when alive, it is driven by some motivation like a zombie, why not be afraid? Sixth, one should not embrace because of infatuation. This thing that you are infatuated with, which is covered with skin, if it were not covered with skin, why would you not like it? If it is not covered, is there no need? Then why embrace the covered thing? The second part has three aspects: the manifestation of impurity, the certainty of signs, and the disappearance of the characteristics of purity. The first part has two aspects: one should not be infatuated with the various aspects of impurity, and condemning those who are deluded. The first part has three aspects: refuting infatuation with saliva, tangible objects, and flesh. The first part is: if you like a woman's saliva, then food is the only cause, but the result will produce feces, urine, and saliva. Since you don't like feces, then why do you like a woman's saliva?

Why do you like it? Secondly, if you say you like its soft touch, then since touching cotton is also soft, why don't you like cotton pillows, but instead indulge in filth? O greedy one, why are you so deluded by impure things? Those evil and ignorant greedy ones cannot even use it to sleep on soft cotton, but instead become angry about it, so it is clear that they are not attached to the touch, but to impure things. If you are not attached to impure things, then why do you embrace other women who are connected by bones and smeared with flesh? Your own body is also full of impure things, yet you always enjoy it, and because you are greedy for impure things, you desire other impure women. Thirdly, if you say that I don't like cotton and other things, but I like this flesh and blood, and I want to touch and look at flesh and blood, then why don't you like the corpse without sensation? If you say that you don't like it because the corpse has no sensation, then the sensation you crave is not touch and form, so you cannot touch and look; but the body that can touch and look has no sensation, so what is the use of embracing this meaningless body? Secondly, not recognizing the impure nature of another's body is not so surprising; but not recognizing that one's own body is impure is truly amazing. Even if the body has impure parts, but if you are attached to it because the body has beautiful color, shape, taste, and touch, then since the blooming lotus in the cloudless sunlight also has these advantages, why do you abandon the lotus and instead, with a mind attached to impurity, like the impure container? The second part has three points: determining impurity through cause and effect, function, and metaphor. The first part has two points: the entity and the condemnation of attachment. The first point, as the cause of impurity: if you don't even want to touch places contaminated by feces and other impure things, then how can you want to touch the body that comes from it? As a result: if you are not attached to impure things, then from the womb of the impure field

Since it has arisen and become the seed of impurity, the sperm and blood of the parents and the food eaten by the mother that nourishes the body, why do you embrace in your lap a body produced by impurity? If you do not desire even a tiny impure worm that arises from impure feces and urine, then why do you desire a body born from impurity, whose nature is made up of many impurities? The second point is, even if that is so, you yourself are also like that, so why do you not despise yourself? If you say it is like offering a torma and bali, then you should despise yourself for being impure. Not only do you not despise yourself, but you, a bag of impurity, because you crave impurity, also crave other impurities. This is unreasonable! The second point is, even pleasant things like camphor, and clean foods like rice and vegetables, if put in the mouth and then spat out and discarded, will make the ground impure and filthy, what need is there to mention the body that does such things? The third point is, even though such an impure body is obvious, if you still have doubts, then go and look at other impure corpses abandoned in cemeteries. Observe and analyze them in that way. From where, when the skin is peeled open, those who see those sights will feel great fear. Since you know this, why do you still feel attachment and joy towards it? The third part has three points: one should not be attached to the body because of the qualities of others; one's own nature is not a place of happiness; and one should not be happy with it. The first point is: if you say that you are attached to the body because it is perfumed with sandalwood and other fragrant things, then the fragrance applied to the body is also the fragrance of sandalwood and so on, and not the fragrance of the body itself. So why be attached to others because of the fragrance of others? If you are attached to fragrance, then this body itself naturally emits a foul odor, wouldn't it be better not to be attached to it? Why do worldly people have desire for meaningless things, and why do they apply fragrance to it? If you say that although the nature of the body is not fragrant, it becomes fragrant after being perfumed, so you are attached to it, then the fragrance is the fragrance of sandalwood, what fragrance can arise from the body itself? Since fragrance will not arise, why be attached to others because of the fragrance of others? The second point is: if the nature of the body is not adorned, then the hair

The teeth are very long, the teeth are gray and stained, covered with mud of dirt, naked and terrifying. If so, why bother wiping it like wiping a weapon that harms oneself? The third is: Alas, I am ignorant of the impurity of my body, so with meaningless efforts such as wiping it, I am intoxicated by afflictions, so that this whole earth is confused and pervaded. Even if they only see a pile of bones, they will be disgusted in the tomb. Then, would they like the city's tomb covered with piles of bones shaken by the power of motivation? It is not appropriate to like it. Third, regarding the harm caused by causes, there are two types: teaching and explanation. First: Such an impure woman cannot be obtained without cost. For her sake, accumulating wealth will cause fatigue in this life and harm from suffering such as hell in the next life. Second, there are two types: no opportunity to enjoy desire itself, and association with other faults. First: In childhood, one cannot accumulate wealth to obtain a woman, so when one grows up, one cannot obtain her, so what is the use? If one's life is spent accumulating wealth, then what is the use of desire when one is old? One cannot enjoy it. Also, some evil greedy people are completely exhausted by work all day long, and when they come home at night, they lie down like a severed corpse, unable to enjoy desire. Some travel far away, suffering from afflictions, far from their homeland, full of pain. Even if they want wives and children, they can hardly see them, let alone enjoy desire. Second, there are six aspects. First, obtaining physical suffering: wanting to benefit oneself but being completely ignorant of the means, selling one's own body for the sake of the livelihood of wives and children, etc., even without obtaining that purpose, and without anything else that benefits oneself, but being involuntarily driven by the wind of the karma of other wives and children, etc. One will be very miserable in both this life and the next. Some sell their bodies to others as servants, and are involuntarily driven by others. Even there, if the wives have children, they will live under trees because they have no home of their own.
