Because this is Sutra tradition. It is permissible to recite even without receiving the transmission. Emaho! From here, towards the west, beyond countless worlds, in a slightly elevated place, is the pure realm of Sukhavati. Even though my physical eyes have not seen it, it is vividly clear in the mind of my clear awareness. There, the Bhagavan, the Victorious One, Amitabha, with a body the color of red lotus jewel, blazing with splendor, with a crown on his head and a wheel on his feet, adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor signs, with one face and two hands in meditative equipoise, holding a begging bowl, wearing the three Dharma robes, sitting in the vajra posture, on a thousand-petaled lotus and moon cushion, leaning his back against the Bodhi tree, looking at me from afar with eyes of compassion. To his right is the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara, with a white body, holding a white lotus in his left hand. To his left is the Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta, with a blue lotus marked with a vajra. His two right hands show the mudra of refuge and protection, pointing towards me. The three principal ones are like Mount Meru, standing tall, bright, and radiant. The retinue of hundreds of thousands of Bodhisattva monks, all golden in color, adorned with marks and signs, wearing the three Dharma robes, a sea of yellow. Because of faith and devotion, there is no difference between near and far before the Buddhas. I prostrate with reverence with my three doors. Where? You always gaze with love upon all sentient beings. Whatever thoughts arise in the minds of all sentient beings, You always know with your wisdom whatever thoughts move. Whatever words are spoken by all sentient beings, You always hear distinctly and separately. I prostrate to the all-knowing Amitabha. Except for abandoning the Dharma and committing the five heinous crimes, All who have faith in you and offer prayers, Their prayers to be born in Sukhavati will be fulfilled. It is said that you will come in the bardo and lead them to that realm. I prostrate to the guide, Amitabha. Your lifespan is immeasurable kalpas, You do not pass into sorrow, you are manifestly present now. If you are supplicated with one-pointed devotion, Except for the ripening of karma, Even if life is exhausted, one can live for a hundred years, It is said that all untimely deaths are averted. I prostrate to the protector, Amitayus. Compared to giving charity by filling countless billions of three-thousandfold world systems With precious jewels, If one hears the name of Amitabha and Sukhavati, And joins their palms together with faith, It is said that this is more virtuous than that. Therefore, I respectfully prostrate to Amitabha. Whoever hears the name of Amitabha, And without hypocrisy, from the depths of their heart and bones, Even if they generate faith just once, That one will not turn back from the path to enlightenment. I prostrate to the protector, Amitabha. Having heard the name of Buddha Amitabha, Until one obtains the essence of enlightenment, One will not be born as a woman, but will be born into a noble lineage. In all lifetimes, one will maintain pure morality. I prostrate to the Sugata, Amitabha. I offer my body, possessions, and all sources of merit, Whatever offerings are actually available, As well as the auspicious objects, symbols, and seven precious jewels created by the mind, The four continents, Mount Meru, suns and moons, billions of them, Of the three-thousandfold world system that has existed from the beginning, All the enjoyments of gods, nagas, and humans, I take them with my mind and offer them to Amitabha. I confess the three unwholesome actions of now. Killing parents, teachers, and Arhats, Generating evil thoughts towards the body of the Buddha, Accumulating the karma of the five heinous crimes, I confess. Killing monks and novices, causing nuns to disrobe, Destroying statues, stupas, temples, and so on, Committing sins close to the five heinous crimes, I confess. Regarding the Three Jewels, temples, scriptures, the three supports, and so on, Taking oaths and vows by setting them as witnesses, Accumulating the evil karma of abandoning the Dharma, I confess. Greater sin than killing sentient beings of the three realms, Is slandering the Bodhisattvas, Accumulating meaningless great sins, I confess. Regarding the benefits of virtue, the faults of sin, And the suffering of hell, the length of life, and so on, Even after hearing, thinking they are untrue and just talk, Evil deeds worse than the five heinous crimes, Accumulating evil deeds without liberation, I confess. The four defeats, the thirteen remainders, The thirty expulsions, the individual confessions, the five categories of misdeeds, Breaking the vows of individual liberation, I confess. The four black Dharmas, the five-five-eight transgressions, Breaking the Bodhisattva precepts, I confess. The fourteen root downfalls, the eight gross branch vows, Breaking the secret mantra vows, I confess. Having not taken vows, committing unwholesome actions, Engaging in impure conduct, drinking alcohol, and so on, Sins by nature that are blameworthy, Not knowing sin as sin, I confess. Even if having received refuge vows, precepts, empowerments, and so on, Not knowing how to protect those vows and commitments, Incurring the transgressions that have been prescribed, I confess. If there is no regret, confession will not purify, Like poison entering the stomach from past sins, I confess with shame, fear, and great regret. If there is no intention to restrain in the future, it will not purify, Even if it costs my life in the future, I will not commit unwholesome actions, From now on, I will not do them, I make a firm commitment in my mind. May the Sugata Amitabha and his retinue, Bless my mindstream to be completely purified. When hearing others doing virtuous deeds, Abandoning jealousy and displeasure towards them, Rejoicing from the heart, It is said that one will receive equal merit. Therefore, for all the virtuous deeds done by noble ones and ordinary beings, I rejoice in all of them. 救护生命行布施，守护戒律真实语，调解争端语温和，言语有义欲念少，修习慈悲行正法，随喜所有诸善业。十方世界无边处，圆满成佛不久前，祈请为彼等众生，迅速广转妙法轮，祈请以您之智眼，如实了知此事。祈请诸佛菩萨持教善知识，若欲示现入涅槃，祈请莫入于涅槃。以此为首我之三世诸善根，为利一切有情众生而回向，愿众速得无上菩提果，从根拔除三有轮回苦。愿此善根令我速成熟，今生十八非时死遣除，获得无病青春盛壮身，财富无尽如夏日恒河。无有魔敌之损害，行持殊胜妙正法，一切如意之愿望，如意成就具意义，弘法利生事业广，愿能成就具意义之人身。我及与我有关联诸众生，从此命终舍寿之时，化身佛陀无量光，比丘僧众眷属绕，祈请现前降临于我前。见此心生欢喜景象乐，祈请无有死亡之痛苦。八大菩萨勇士众，以其神变力降临虚空，前往极乐世界之，祈请引导指示解脱道。恶趣痛苦难以忍受，天人安乐无常变，愿生恐惧畏惧之心。从无始以来直至现今，轮回于此漫长时日，愿生厌离之心。虽可从人转生为人，然生老病死无量受，于此恶世衰败时，障碍重重极难忍，人天安乐诸享受，犹如毒药掺杂之食物，愿我毫不贪恋一丝一毫。亲友财物善友等，如幻如梦无常法，愿我毫不执着一丝一毫。土地家园房舍等，犹如梦中家园房舍般，不执为实有。
