May I become the path that leads all to various dispositions and inclinations, Meditation, recollection of former lives, and the divine eye, May I possess the ten powers of knowing the exhaustion of defilements. Having attained enlightenment by perfecting the Dharmakaya for my own benefit, Having completely abandoned all defilements along with their imprints, To show the path and obstacles for the benefit of others, May I possess the four fearlessnesses. May I attain the unmixed Buddha-dharmas with conduct free from delusion and chatter, And realization with undiminished aspiration and so forth, Through incomparable wisdom and activity. May I satisfy the hopes and desires of various beings to be tamed, With a body that is never satiated by looking at it, and is unparalleled, Thoroughly adorned with the thirty-two marks, And beautifully embellished with the eighty minor marks. May I completely perfect the aggregates of morality, as well as concentration, Wisdom, and liberation, And the wisdom of the vision of liberation, The five uncontaminated aggregates. May all qualities manifest, such as the eye, clairvoyance, discriminating awareness, Retention, exhaustion, subjugation, great compassion, Freedom from afflictions, knowledge of aspirations, the ten powers, and so forth. Having thus gained mastery over the three bodies and five wisdoms of the Buddhas, Qualities, activities, and so forth, By immeasurable deeds in countless realms, May I accomplish the benefit and happiness of limitless beings. May I be as immeasurable as the wisdom of Manjushri, As equal to the compassion of Avalokiteshvara, And just like the power of the Lord of Secrets, May I perform the deeds of beings for countless eons. Whoever sees me, hears me, Remembers me, touches me, or speaks of me, And those who hear good speech from me, May they soon become the lords of the Buddhas. May I be a great fire for those threatened by cold, And cool flowing water for those tormented by heat, And a boat and bridge for those wishing to cross over, And a supreme light for those trapped in darkness. May I be a source of all desires for the impoverished, And the supreme medicine that benefits those afflicted by illness, And the nectar of life for those threatened by death, And a good resting place for those exhausted by the path. May I be a fine mansion for those without a dwelling, And delicious food for those tormented by hunger, And the supreme drink for those who are thirsty, And may whatever is appropriate for whomever arise as desired. In short, may all the actions of my three doors, Be like a virtuous vase, a wish-fulfilling jewel, And a wish-granting

Like the wish-fulfilling jewel and the wish-fulfilling tree, may it effortlessly and spontaneously accomplish the benefit of beings! By the blessings and truth of the Three Jewels, and by the inconceivable power of the pure Dharma realm, may these aspirations be fulfilled as desired, through my pure intention for the benefit of others! The teacher, the incomparable perfect Buddha, the protector, the incomparable holy Dharma, the guide, the immeasurable noble Sangha, may the supreme Three Jewels bring auspiciousness! Thus, with a mind that is excellent and beneficial to others, the great aspiration of the Bodhisattva conduct, by the virtue of speaking this tree of benefit and happiness, may all beings realize the two benefits and attain Buddhahood! The supreme youth of wisdom, clear and beautiful, fully embracing the pure appearances of pure speech, may you urge my mind to fully blossom into a thousand petals, and I offer this nectar of well-spoken words accordingly. This "Aspiration of Bodhisattva Conduct, the Tree of Benefit and Happiness," is written by Sherab Ozer, a servant who respectfully places the dust of the feet of the venerable and holy Ratna on his head, in the Lhabrang amidst the camp focused on essential practice.
