Visualize the wood emitting light. Then, the disciples, proceeding with prostrations, should ransom their bodies with whatever possessions are available. Joining their palms, they pray: In the supreme abode of the non-dual Victorious One, may you dwell well; Displaying various forms in the play of body, speech, and mind; Supreme King of Physicians, please consider us. Although you are not concerned with the need for worldly possessions, In order to liberate us from the entanglement of suffering thoughts bound by self-grasping, From the depths of the swamp of samsara, I beseech you to accept the offerings made with possessions. Thus, ransom the body. Fourth, offering gratitude and making offerings: the leader of the disciples raises a skull cup filled with nectar, complete with butter lamps, saying: You are inherently the splendor of body, speech, and mind, For the sake of obtaining many glorious mudras, You are the symbol of all Buddhas in the three times, Supreme Vajra, I prostrate and praise you. Thus, offer towards the face of the Powerful One and present whatever offerings are available. Afterwards, pledge vows, offer a mandala, dedicate the merit, and conclude with auspicious words. The subsequent rituals should also be understood as in a sadhana mandala. The very secret, the reality of co-emergent bliss, Complete with all aspects, the essence of all dharmas, The intention of the Buddhas of the three times, that alone it is. The unerring path that surely reveals suchness as it is. In order to enjoy the play of wisdom vajra of the fifty-eight self-arisen wrathful deities, Opening the door to enter the two-stage precious palace, The melodious sound of Brahma's laughter is sung. The depths are unfathomable, the edge of the ocean of tantric meaning, How can I, in the state of a child, measure it with my ego? However, following the treatises of previous wise ones, And recording the oral transmissions of the holy ones as they are. The virtue of striving here, like the rays of the sun, May the lotus of the clear mind bloom greatly, May the fortunate assembly of six-legged bees be captivated, And enjoy the splendor of the honey of good deeds. This, called "The Wrathful Deities' Compendium Empowerment Ritual of the Net of Illusion: The Laughter of the Blood-Drinking Vajra," is also motivated by the desire to benefit many, both self and others, and recently urged by the words of my younger brother in the Dharma, Gyurme Yidzhin Legpar Drubpa, taking the dust of the feet of the kind Guru Terdak Lingpa brothers upon my head, the mad mendicant Pema.
