Whoever offers clarified butter lamps to the stupa, those people will have beautiful eyes and greatly increased wealth, With long eyes and a towering complexion, Deserving to be seen by men and women. At night, before the Great Sage, with palms joined, those who are wealthy offer lamp stands, those people will have results in other existences, And will also obtain a body with the light of coarse jewels. When the lamp offered to the King goes out, With a joyful mind, here, joyfully, those who encourage the essence, Will certainly obtain the five eyes. Those people who have a virtuous mind, Towards the stupa of the Victorious One made by others, Rejoicing in it, even if they have not done it themselves, In short, those people will also have done it. To those who are virtuous and come from afar, Whoever joyfully gives bedding, those people, wandering in various realms of samsara, Will obtain excellent golden thrones and seats. Whoever gives excellent food to the Sangha, suitable for renunciates, those people, dwelling in the monasteries of samsara, Will obtain food with flavor, color, and so on. Whoever gives vast drinks to the Sangha, suitable for renunciates, those people, dwelling in the monasteries of samsara, Will obtain drinks with flavor, color, and so on. Whoever hears the excellent Dharma, spoken by the Teacher of the World, and then practices it, those people will quickly cross the ocean of existence, terrifying with waves of affliction. King, all these virtuous actions, Having ripened into various pleasures of samsara, Will easily obtain the supreme fruit of the Buddha's enlightenment. Then, the king, filled with joy, spoke to the virtuous sage.
