May this white virtue, like the light of the moon, be dedicated to the benefit of all beings. Thus, the compilation of the ritual of the Immaculate Light Rays of the Noble Tara, "Garland of Light Rays," is, the nectar garland of the instructions of the glorious Guru Mahapandita Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, worn on the crown of the head, as well as the entreaties of other fortunate ones such as the Emanation of Menshul, and at the immediate urging of my Vajra disciple, the throne holder of the Northern Region, Rinchen Lobsang Khyenrab. Written by the monk Losal Tenkyong on the fifteenth day of the Saga month of the Water Ox year, at the great retreat chamber of Shalu Ripuk, the Peak of Liberation.
