Because suchness is the existence without difference in all Buddhas and sentient beings, therefore it is also said to be the essence, this is the second. The aggregates etc. that sentient beings possess, the part that is similar to the Buddha, that is the Buddha's lineage. Lineage means very similar. Therefore, establishing the name of Tathagata on the lineage, it is said to be the essence, this is the third, sequentially the Dharmakaya, suchness, lineage. The first is the Tathagata is real, it is the establishment of the essence of sentient beings; the middle is the part of both Buddha and sentient beings, therefore both the Tathagata and the essence are real; the last is the essence is real, the Tathagata is established, this is the view of Gos Lo. It should be known that non-discrimination also applies to the four places. Lineage, element, seed, etc. become synonyms, element does not refer to the cause, but refers to the unclear way, the meaning of the word essence also exists, therefore it is called element, such as the nine metaphors of the Buddha in the lotus etc., the nine meanings, the essence is truly existent, but from the outside it is obscured by other obscurations and exists, therefore the element is used as a metaphor. The Dharmadhatu is also shown as lineage and element. The word garbha (藏文,梵文天城体,garbha, womb) means that which exists in the middle covered by a shell. Therefore, suchness is obscured by sudden defilements in the base period, and appears to exist in its center. The word hṛdaya (藏文,梵文天城体,hṛdaya, heart) means essence or supreme. Therefore, suchness itself is the essence or supreme of all dharmas. The word sāra (藏文,梵文天城体,sāra,essence) means solid and stable. Therefore, suchness should be understood as the meaning of never changing. The sixth is, in general, the base period is the object of knowledge, the path period is the object of observation, the result period is the Svabhavikakaya, all three are established from the Dharmadhatu wisdom, this is the way of abiding of all the treatises of the venerable Maitreya. For example, in the Ornament of Clear Realization, it says: "The support of practice, the nature of the Dharmadhatu." That is, taking this as the basis to be purified, it is explained that through the four practices or four applications that purify, and all that should be abandoned of the path of seeing and the path of meditation that are purified, after abandoning them, the result of obtaining the Dharmakaya is obtained. Here, the basis to be purified is the element, the essence of the Sugata, pure.

Having names such as fondness for actions, etc., and purifying the objects to be purified, such as attachment, etc., the nine defilements and three obscurations, with the sixty all-purifying practices. It is said that by practicing the four, such as anger towards the Dharma, etc., the results of separation, such as the Dharmakaya, qualities, and activities, will become manifest. Therefore, these are merely differences in Dharma terminology, but they all converge on the same meaning. Pages 101 to 200. It is so. Therefore, at the base stage, the establishment of the nature of the Alaya, which is the basis for imprinting the habits of samsara and nirvana respectively, and at the path stage, it is said that adventitious defilements are to be abandoned. It is acknowledged that the aspects of self-nature purity are each experienced by self-awareness wisdom, and at the fruition stage, there is no difference in establishing that there is ultimate transformational wisdom. This is the basis of this treatise, and the method of explanation is divided into two stages: relying on the Madhyamaka treatises, explaining by the path of inference; and explaining the meaning of the essence by the path of direct perception. The first is: the teaching tradition of the great translator Ngok and his followers, who consider the Tathagatagarbha to be the ultimate truth. And they acknowledge that this is emptiness explained from the perspective of reason, with the characteristic of negation. Even the great translator and Tsang Nakpa said that the ultimate truth is not only not the object of sound and conceptualization, but it is not even a suitable object of attachment. Teacher Chapa, on the other hand, considers the ultimate truth to be the negation of emptiness, where things are empty due to truth, and it can also be the object of attachment to sound and conceptualization. The meaning of qualities being naturally endowed also refers to the fact that if one focuses on emptiness, all qualities naturally gather there, and it is established there. The cause of purification refers to focusing on the two selflessnesses with the wisdom of purification, and it cannot be newly established. The cause of complete affliction refers to the person and Dharma self that are imputed by complete affliction, and since the object of affliction is not established at all, it is explained as something that originally existed but cannot be eliminated later. The meaning of being pervaded by the Dharmakaya is also explained as the meaning that sentient beings can attain the Dharmakaya. The second is: the followers of the Maitreya Dharma meditation tradition transmitted from the two translators, Lotsawa Zuchen, and the lord Maitripa, having obtained the instructions from the great Brahmin father and son, are in accordance with mantra.
