May the root of conceptual thoughts be completely severed! It is not existent; even the Victorious Ones have not seen it. It is not nonexistent; it is the basis of all samsara and nirvana. It is not contradictory; it is the path of the Union of the Middle Way. May we realize the dharmata of mind, free from extremes! There is nothing that can indicate by saying, "This it is." There is nothing that can negate by saying, "This it is not." It is the dharmata beyond the mind, the unconditioned. May we ascertain the ultimate limit of true meaning! If this is not realized, one wanders in the ocean of samsara. If this is realized, Buddhahood is not elsewhere. Everything is this; nothing is not this. May we recognize the truth of the dharmata, the all-encompassing ground! Appearance is mind, emptiness is also mind. Realization is mind, delusion is also one's own mind. Arising is mind, ceasing is also mind; therefore, may all imputations be severed in the mind! Without being tainted by contrived, effortful meditation, without being stirred by the winds of ordinary distractions, may we skillfully abide in the uncontrived, natural, innate state, and skillfully cultivate the essential meaning of mind! May the waves of subtle and coarse thoughts subside in their own place, may the river of unwavering mind naturally abide, and may the ocean of calm abiding, free from the stains of sinking and dullness, be unmoving and stable! When repeatedly looking at the mind that cannot be looked at, may we clearly see the unseen meaning as it is, may we cut through doubts about what is and is not, and may we recognize our own face without error! When looking at objects, may we see objects dissolve into the objectless mind. When looking at the mind, may we see the mind empty in its essence. When looking at both, may the clinging to duality be liberated in its own place. May we realize the true nature of the clear light mind! Devoid of mental fabrication, this is Mahamudra. Free from extremes, this is the Great Madhyamaka. This is also called the All-Encompassing Dzogchen. May we gain the confidence of understanding one thing and realizing all meanings! May the great bliss without attachment be continuous, may the clear light without conceptual grasping be free from obscurations. It is beyond the mind, spontaneously accomplished. May effortless experience be continuous! May the clinging to good and bad experiences be liberated in its own place, may negative thoughts and delusions be purified in the expanse of their own nature, may ordinary consciousness be free from acceptance and rejection, without gain or loss, and may we realize the truth of the dharmata, free from elaboration! The nature of sentient beings is always Buddha, but due to non-realization, they wander endlessly in samsara. May unbearable compassion arise for sentient beings with endless suffering!

May I be born in the lineage! With the power of unbearable compassion that never ceases, the essence of love, the meaning of emptiness, dawns nakedly. May I constantly meditate day and night without separation on this supreme path of union free from duality! May the eyes and clairvoyance arising from the power of meditation, mature sentient beings and purify the Buddha-fields. May the prayer to accomplish all the Buddha's teachings be fulfilled. May the three, completion, maturation, and purification, be perfected and may I attain Buddhahood! By the compassion of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, and by the power of all the white and virtuous deeds, may the pure prayers of myself and all sentient beings be fulfilled accordingly! 《The Aspiration of the Definitive Meaning Mahamudra》was composed by Je Rangjung Dorje. Although the desired enjoyments are complete, I have not accumulated them, and although the retinue of desirable qualities is numerous, I have not been attached to them. That treasury of wisdom, the three trainings and the pitaka, is placed in the center of the heart of renunciation and emptiness. This was also written by the Dzogchen master Karma Ngedon Sungrab Tenpai Gyaltsen, in a solitary place in the Khading Cave. May virtue and auspiciousness increase! Sarva Mangalam! 《The Aspiration of the Definitive Meaning Mahamudra》composed by Je Rangjung Dorje.
