Sun, moon, parasol, and victory banner, Silken banners and pleasing music sounds, Precious ornaments, tiered mansions, fine clothes, Various excellent grains, well-mixed food and drink, etc. Filled with the abundant possessions of gods and humans, Pervading all of space and the edge of samsara, May it remain thus without interruption until that time. Furthermore, my body and possessions, And whatever virtuous things exist in the three times, I offer to the venerable and holy Lord of Dharma, Together with his lineage and the assembly of yidam deities, And to the victorious ones together with their sons. Having accepted them through the power of impartial compassion, I pray that you bless me and all beings. From this day until I attain enlightenment, I and all beings equal to space, Supplicate you, unequaled supreme refuge, Please consider us with your immeasurable wisdom and love. Having completely rescued us from the great ocean of existence, I pray that you place us on the dry land of liberation, nirvana. Having burned away the thick jungle of ingrained habits, I pray that you generate the light of true wisdom. I pray that you pacify the turbulent waves of disturbing emotions, Stirred by the whirlwind of conceptual thoughts. I pray that you turn us back from the swift river of karma, From being led into the mouth of the suffering crocodile. I pray that you cause the sapling of bodhichitta, Whose root of love and compassion is extremely firm, to grow. Through the four empowerments that ripen body, speech, and mind, I pray that you plant the seeds of the four kayas of liberation. Upon the vows and commitments obtained at that time, I pray that you avert the accumulation of stains of faults and transgressions. Through the correct view symbolized by empowerment, I pray that you realize the union of the two truths. Through the yoga of the two stages without interruption, I pray that you perfect the union of the two accumulations. By enhancing practice, connecting it with the near cause, I pray that you cause the four kayas to become manifest. In all situations before that is attained, I pray that you avert the obstacles to accomplishing enlightenment. I pray that you cause the virtuous friend, the supreme companion, Who is a conducive condition, and the unerring holy Dharma to flourish. I pray that you bestow the accomplishment of a harmless place, faultless possessions, And a life free from illness. Having gathered a virtuous retinue with a friendly demeanor, may you always fulfill the wishes of all beings! Having perfectly placed them in flawless discipline, may you increase their hearing, contemplation, and meditation! Through the activities of constant teaching, debate, and composition, may you expand the Sage's teachings in the ten directions! May all calamities be completely pacified in all kingdoms, and may wealth and prosperity flourish! In short, in order to accomplish perfect enlightenment, may all adverse conditions and obstacles be completely pacified, And may all favorable conditions and wishes be effortlessly and spontaneously fulfilled! May I become the embodiment of all the qualities of all Buddhas, the precious source (རིན་ཆེན་འབྱུང་ལྡན།，ratna-kara，Jewel-Source), And by fulfilling the hopes of beings as vast as space, may I perfect great merit! May all these appearances be realized as one's own mind, and the nature of mind as the union of clarity and emptiness. Having well understood this, through one-pointed meditation, may you perfect the great accumulation of wisdom! This supplication to the glorious Lama Rinchen Jungden (རིན་ཆེན་འབྱུང་ལྡན།，ratna-kara，Jewel-Source), called "Increasing Merit," was written by Sonam Senge, a servant of the venerable Lamas, on the fifteenth day of the last star month of the Fire Dog year (uncertain, possibly referring to a Fire Dog year in a certain Rabjung cycle), at the great monastic college of glorious Maitreya. The scribe was the holder of the treasury, Sonam Lhawang Peldan Bejo. May this increase Dharma and wealth in the minds of all sentient beings! May it be auspicious!
