89 89 One should not be defiled by impure forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile objects that are unpleasant and cause suffering, nor should one defile others with them. Even in secluded places, when offering substances to the Three Jewels, if one mixes musk scents and gugul scents, there is a risk of harming the bodies and minds of insects and non-humans. Therefore, one should be mindful of the occasion and diligently maintain cleanliness. In places that are considered inauspicious by people, even if various phenomena such as white crows and rainbows at night appear, one should not regard these unknown things as inauspicious signs. Instead, one should view them as merely the appearance and arising of dependent origination, the law of causality. One should not presume them to be omens of misfortune, etc. Since all phenomena are merely imputed by conceptual thought and are not inherently existent, they are merely dependent origination. If one imputes anything as a cause of negativity, there is a risk of negative consequences arising. Therefore, mountain retreats are for severing connections with householders, and sealing doors and refraining from speech are for severing distractions among renunciates. Even if one recognizes one's own mind as the Dharmakaya, one must still rely on the Vajra Master, accumulate merit and purify obscurations limitlessly, and attain the Rupakaya of Dharma so that all sentient beings may be effortlessly liberated. One should always rely on the noble Guru without separation, and please him with offerings and feasts. Even when one attains Buddhahood as the Dharmakaya and Rupakaya, the Dharmakaya of the noble Guru and one's own Dharmakaya are inseparable in the Dharmadhatu, free from elaboration, and become non-dual like water poured into water. The Guru's Rupakaya and one's own Rupakaya, for the purpose of training the minds of sentient beings, all aspects of body, liberation, and activities are equal, becoming of one taste in equanimity. For the sake of accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings, the compassionate activity abides inseparably together, training the minds of sentient beings. Even when those Buddhas transform into each other, due to the previous relationship of master and disciple, the Buddha who was previously the disciple is honored as the lord of the family of that Buddha's mandala, and is revered at the crown of the head to sentient beings.

Accomplishing limitless meanings, pleasing the Vajradhara, the lord of the lineage, by offerings that completely fulfill his intentions, and always making him happy is the nature of dependent origination. Therefore, from this life onwards until the sky remains, if we always perform the supreme act of pleasing the kind and ultimate refuge, the Lama Vajra Acharya, and if we properly arrange the auspicious connection of non-separation, then even after we have manifestly attained complete enlightenment, we will remain inseparable from the supreme Lama, the lord of the lineage, the complete Buddha, until the sky is destroyed, and we will abide together in the form of the main deity and retinue. And just as the lord of the lineage expands, so too will we become the constant refuge for all sentient beings, and whoever takes refuge in us will never be separated, becoming a protector whose compassion and power are incomparable. Such an immeasurable mandala of the Buddha, the main deity and retinue, will completely dry up the endless ocean of samsara and nirvana, so all things should rely on the kind and supreme Lama. Since the cause of all benefit and happiness in samsara and nirvana is the two accumulations, even the slightest benefit and happiness arises from accumulating small amounts of the two accumulations. Therefore, even if small amounts of the two accumulations have not arisen, we should do whatever we can. In short, for the benefit of myself and all sentient beings, until we attain Buddhahood, we must accumulate and purify for that purpose. When such accumulation and purification reaches its ultimate peak and we attain complete Buddhahood, then all the body, speech, mind, and activities of the Buddha will become the root of limitless virtue for all sentient beings, and we will accomplish a supreme body endowed with benefit, happiness, and virtue. Thus, all the qualities of the Buddha's ground are also the nature of accumulating the three accumulations in the three times, and there is no wavering. Some say that the complete Buddha should not accumulate the two accumulations, because he has already attained the ultimate state of complete two accumulations. However, the words of the great Gyalwa Drikungpa are: The complete Buddha is the result of the complete merit of the two accumulations, and the complete Buddha is the Bodhicitta.
