80 80 Furthermore, the way of the biography of the incarnate body of Lord Gampopa is revealed according to the aspirations of the beings to be tamed. According to the sutras, those who have attained the bhumis can see the sambhogakaya, and those who are great practitioners of the accumulation path can see the supreme nirmanakaya. Although it is said that ordinary beings who are not like this cannot directly see the Buddha of the sambhogakaya and nirmanakaya, according to the tantric system, for the sharp-witted beings to be tamed by tantra, when they first enter from the accumulation path, even those who are ripened by empowerment in the mandala of Vajradhara (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་ཅན།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रधर, Sanskrit Romanization: Vajradhara, Chinese literal meaning: Diamond Holder) can see the Buddha of the sambhogakaya and nirmanakaya. Because such seeing is possible by the power of the wisdom of the Buddha, the eye consciousness is drawn into the mandala of Vajradhara (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་ཅན།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रधर, Sanskrit Romanization: Vajradhara, Chinese literal meaning: Diamond Holder), and it is accomplished by the auspicious ritual of the tantras. It is also possible to see in accordance with the activity. Because the sharp-witted individuals of tantra and the power of the auspicious interdependence of tantric virtue are more powerful than other actions, and their power is inconceivable. Therefore, the asceticism of action that arises from the tantric path, as well as the meditation on the body mandala of the yoga tantras, the recitation of mantras, the making of mudras, the offerings and praises of songs and dances, and the power of the auspicious interdependence of the rituals of the channels, winds, and bindus of the unsurpassed generation and completion stages, even ordinary beings can see the peaceful and wrathful forms of the sambhogakaya and nirmanakaya Buddhas described in the sutras and tantras, as well as the manifestations of various forms of Buddhas and sentient beings. In particular, even the Mahamudra yogis who have not attained the noble bhumis, who practice devotion as the path, can see the face of the sambhogakaya and nirmanakaya Buddhas described in the sutras and tantras, and hear the Dharma. Because in this Kagyu lineage, the person who seeks the state of Mahamudra, which is known as ordinary awareness, is superior in faculties to any other person who seeks perfect enlightenment. And the faith and aspiration of the seeker of this state are more supreme than any virtue that leads to perfect enlightenment, and are the essence of virtue. Therefore, accumulating such virtuous accumulations greatly increases the power to ripen and liberate the continuum, and therefore one becomes fortunate enough to directly see the sambhogakaya and nirmanakaya of the Buddha. Therefore,

When a Kagyu master guides disciples, merely experiencing the preliminary practices leads to countless visions of the yidam deity. However, some say: these are not yidam deities, but non-human entities like demons, or illusions of negative karma such as illnesses. Such statements reveal a lack of even a trace of faith, longing, or doubt in the essence of the supreme Mahayana, the history of the unsurpassed teachings. It is truly lamentable. The glorious Tilopa, lord of yogis, in his ordinary state before attaining accomplishment, saw Vajradhara himself manifesting in various ways: sometimes as hundreds and thousands of yogis, sometimes as a thirteen-year-old emanation child, playing and directly meeting Vajradhara. He heard verses such as, "The essence is formless, there is no seer." Merely hearing these verses, Tilopa attained siddhi. Similarly, Naropa, in his ordinary state, saw the Blessed Vajrayogini appearing as a woman with thirty-two unsightly marks, going to the east, and prophesying that he would meet Tilopa and attain supreme siddhi. To judge such unparalleled events without contemplation is absurd. Therefore, when Jetsun Mila said, "Now I meet the Dharmakaya," it refers to seeing one's own face, free from the defilements of ordinary consciousness, not merely experiencing the clarity and emptiness of awareness. There are two ways of meeting: meeting in accordance and meeting directly. Meeting in accordance means that for the sake of this Dharma, we have accumulated vast roots of virtue from previous lives towards the glorious and holy lama who teaches this Dharma. Merely hearing the name of that lama awakens the karmic connection through faith. Just as Gampopa, while walking on an iron mountain, his mind abiding in samadhi, offered water to insects with his hand, three beggars, upon hearing the name "disciple of Jetsun Milarepa," involuntarily experienced goosebumps and tears, generating immeasurable faith, and a feeling different from their previous state arose in their minds. After a long time
