Therefore, it should not be abandoned. Because the teacher, the Buddha himself, said that in order to attain liberation and omniscient wisdom, if one does not practice such view and meditation, one will not be able to attain the supreme state of liberation. Therefore, when the original nature of the mind, from the re-emergence of the elaborations of objects and subjects, and the clinging of grasper and grasped, is left naturally without any modification, the self-nature of the mind and mental factors, freed from the stains of elaboration, the self-radiance of wisdom appears nakedly, then for the knowable dharmas, the elaborations of conceptual views will be completely cut off, thereby the obscuration of knowledge is naturally purified. When it is purified, the obscurations that merely cling to the knowable characteristics, relying on it, the afflictive obscurations such as the view of self will also be naturally liberated. Therefore, liberation from the prison of the mind and the two obscurations, and the attainment of manifest enlightenment, its magnitude also depends on the magnitude of the power of the mind's unmodified abiding, and whether the skill is complete or not. Furthermore, for the elaborations of dharmas such as mind and objects, not following after any one, nor making any fabrication, the elaborations of dharmas are boundless and extremely vast, yet their own nature is not the nature of elaboration, therefore for this non-elaboration nature, realizing it with the profound emptiness luminosity of realization, then all the clinging to the basis of real dharmas such as the seeds of obscurations, if one cannot find the opportunity, just like one cannot write letters in the sky. The seeds of obscurations, together with habits and karmic imprints, all the bases that lead to bad destinies will also be naturally liberated. The self-nature of mind and mental factors, as the subject, is merely clarity and awareness, and its dharmata is emptiness, apart from these, if one does not impose any actions of the three times such as the view of self and other afflictions, and virtuous, non-virtuous, and neutral actions, then the ignorance that causes samsara and the karma of the branch of dependent origination of action will not accumulate. When such wisdom becomes unmade and unfabricated, the branch of dependent origination of craving and grasping that causes the accomplishment of samsara will also naturally cease, therefore due to the power of the twelve links of dependent origination, the causes and conditions for being born in the birth place of samsara cease, thereby attaining the supreme state of peaceful nirvana.

Alas! Therefore, regarding this view and practice of Mahamudra, which is to leave the mind uncorrected, relaxed, natural, without contrivance, beyond thought, maintaining its own state, and letting the self-nature of Mahamudra be vast and free, Sakya Pandita said that it is no different from the view and practice of the Chinese Heshang. Many famous figures such as Tsongkhapa and his sons, and the great Bodongpa, have said the same. However, there has never been a definitive conclusion as to what the view and practice of the Chinese Heshang actually is, because it is merely the name "Chinese Heshang," and the essence of their teachings has not been understood. Sakya Pandita said that this kind of view and practice is wrong, and therefore cannot be Mahamudra, which is very unreasonable. If that were the case, then all the writings of Dharma Lord Sakya Pandita's own previous masters, uncles, and nephews, as well as the profound meaning of all the sutras and tantras of Sakya Pandita and Phakpa nephews, the guidance of Mahamudra, the Path and Fruit without elaboration, etc., all say that not correcting the mind and relaxing, etc., that is, the samadhi of the state just mentioned, is the way to practice the view and practice of Mahamudra. This is the teaching of the Sugata, as well as the definitive understanding of the teachings of many qualified teachers in Tibet and China, and the lineage of one's own previous masters, uncles, and nephews, which has been widely proclaimed. Moreover, after such extensive proclamation, many Mahamudra siddhas have appeared in the glorious Sakya lineage, and indeed they have appeared, as detailed in the Sakya lineage's own biographies. To refute oneself is indeed a supreme means of taming those to be tamed, but it may also become the basis for various non-virtues and other sins. Sakya Pandita, regarding this prohibition of the Mahamudra view and practice of non-contrivance, those who are fortunate should not rely on words, but should enter through meaning, and should not be satisfied with the literal meaning and generate satisfaction. If you do so, you will directly abandon the profound meaning of the Dharma of the Sugata's sutras and tantras, and then abandon many holy beings such as the Sugata and other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and therefore, there will be a danger of falling into the great abyss of losing refuge in the Three Jewels.

The great Sakya Pandita and others, without any attachment, possessing profound intentions of compassion and wisdom, combined with the aspiration to attain liberation, from this life until enlightenment is attained, should be embraced with great reverence, without separation.
