It is crucial to listen to the first gateway to the path of the vehicle, the sequence of ripening empowerments, with the thought of practicing accordingly, and with the aspiration to generate the supreme Bodhicitta. As it is said in the \"Ratnavali\": \"The realm of sentient beings is immeasurable, and the desire to benefit them is the same.\" Therefore, just as the realm of sentient beings is immeasurable, even a single instance of generating the heightened intention to benefit them is immeasurable. As it is said in the aspiration of the \"Samantabhadra's Prayer\": \"As far as the extent of the sky reaches, so too are all sentient beings without exception. As far as the extent of karma and afflictions reach, so too is the extent of my aspiration.\" Therefore, please listen with all sentient beings in your heart. Furthermore, the proper conduct for listening to the Dharma is as follows: As it is said in the \"Jataka Tales\": \"Sit on a very low seat, cultivate the splendor of gentleness, look with joyful eyes, as if drinking the nectar of words, listen to the Dharma with great diligence.\" And as the Great Orgyen said: \"Having well gathered all thoughts, listen with a very good intention. Vajrasattva and all the Buddhas of the three times will not bless the forgetful mind.\" Therefore, it is said that one must abandon the three faults of the vessel, the six stains, and the five non-grasps. Among them, not turning the ear is a fault like an overturned vessel; not keeping it in mind is a fault like a vessel with a hole in the bottom; mixing it with afflictions is a fault like a poisonous vessel. These are the three faults. Secondly, as the teacher Vasubandhu said: \"Pride, disbelief, lack of interest, external distractions gathered inward, and discouragement are the stains of listening.\" These are the six stains. Thirdly, grasping the words without grasping the meaning, grasping the meaning without grasping the words, grasping incompletely, grasping without understanding the signs, and grasping wrongly are the five non-grasps. Having abandoned such faults, how to listen is as follows: As it is said in the \"Avatamsaka Sutra\": \"Son of good family, when listening to the Dharma, regard yourself as a sick person, regard the Dharma as medicine, regard diligent practice as nursing the sick, and regard" } ] ============================================================

One should listen with the thought that the Geshe spiritual friend is a doctor. That's what it says. On top of that, it is also taught that one must have the six perfections, and it is said in the Abhisamaya Tantra of all Dharma practices: Offering flowers, cushions, etc., Keeping the discipline of the place and conduct, Not harming all sentient beings, Praying to the Lama, Listening to the Lama's instructions without distraction, Asking questions of fault for the sake of eliminating thoughts, Possessing the six branches of the lamp. That's it. In general, even a single word of the holy Dharma heard in the ear of an animal has the power to liberate from the lower realms, which is clear in the ocean of Sutras and Tantras, and especially Gyalwa Longchenpa said: Hearing the sound of the Dharma drum, sentient beings, Liberation from the lower realms, what need is there to say about those who listen? Because of this, when we enter for the sake of Dharma, we are fully endowed from all sides with the precious human body of leisure and endowment, and when we obtain such a fortune to attain Buddhahood in one lifetime and one body, it is time for the auspicious coincidence to accomplish the ultimate wish. The teacher Shantideva said: This leisure and endowment is very difficult to obtain, When the meaning of life is accomplished, If you do not accomplish benefit in this, How can you obtain this perfection again later? Because of this, now that we have found this leisure and endowment body, which is more precious than a wish-fulfilling jewel, we must properly drink the profound nectar of the holy Dharma and strive diligently to seek the state of liberation and omniscience. In obtaining it, the Buddhas of the three times, with skillful means and great compassion, until the minds of the sentient beings to be tamed are not exhausted, there have been so many categories of Dharma that tame, but in short, they can be summarized into the two vehicles of the Great and Small Vehicles, but that is also from the point of view of internal differences. In the Lankavatara Sutra it says: The vehicle of the gods and the vehicle of Brahma, Likewise, the Hearer and, Likewise, the Tathagata and the Solitary Realizer, I have explained all the vehicles. That's it. That is also the two vehicles of manifest higher realms, And the three vehicles of definite goodness, although it is said that way, but in terms of the vehicle of liberation of the path to be traveled, the Vajra Vehicle in terms of the early translation, in the Kunje Gyalpo Tantra: Vehicle
