Bless the consciousness of the deceased who has passed into the next world to be transferred to great bliss. With this visualization, throw the kila as before. Then, also urging the minds of the sole refuge, etc., the prayer for the manifestation of transference is: Emaho! Bhagavan, the supreme refuge of all beings, I pray to the protector Amitabha. Do not let me and others be controlled by karma and afflictions. Please dissolve your mind into the expanse of space. Alas, I and other beings oppressed by the power of the five degenerations, who have no time to practice the sacred Dharma, die suddenly. If you, the protector, do not look upon us at this time, what opportunity is there to transcend death? Alas, quickly, with the magical illusion of the hook of compassion, seize my mind with compassion from the swamp of samsara. In an instant, may your secret mind, O protector, be inseparably united with me. Alas, the immortal protector Avalokiteshvara, Vajradhara, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, together with the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, in the mandala of great bliss, I pray that transference may be manifested. Alas, the dependent arising of phenomena, the transference, and the illusion of emptiness, like a dream, the Middle Way that does not abide in the four extremes of ultimate truth, may the fruit of manifest Dzogchen be fully ripened.
