The essence of Bodhicitta, having declined from the lineage of the Mahayana, is like the mind of a Shravaka or Pratyekabuddha fallen asleep. Awakening it through the power of emptiness and compassion combined, like a guide, and desiring to go to the all-knowing victorious continent like the great ocean of the Mahayana, regarding the five Paramitas such as generosity, the so-called 'essence not taught' refers to those who only stay on the words and do not understand the meaning, like iron ore that cannot function and transforms into an ordinary body. The virtue inseparable from skillful means and wisdom, like the gold-transforming medicine, immediately transforms the state into the Mahayana upon contact, thereby becoming very valuable. Because compassion is the root of virtue that belongs to the aspect of skillful means, and emptiness enhances it, which is wisdom, the precious Bodhicitta that combines these two, and the practice of the four immeasurables, the Bhumi (भूमि,bhūmi,ground, earth), which possesses faith, is the order of learning that includes both the aspiration for Bodhicitta and the engagement in Bodhicitta, all of which arise from the disciple." } ] ============================================================

May it be so. The nature of equanimity is to separate love and hatred, that is, to abandon attachment and hatred towards the loving relatives and the hating enemies, and not to be biased or partial towards one's own side and the other side, but to treat them equally, and to treat the three concepts of enemies, relatives, and intermediaries equally without any difference in the place of benefit, and to apply benefits in a manifest way with attachment, that is, with attachment as the goal, and with the appearance of chaotic things, and the absence of appearance means to apply benefits through good and evil, acceptance and rejection, etc., that is, to calculate them. Among them, loving-kindness with desire means being very loving to one's own side and not loving to others, and miserly compassion means being very compassionate to one's own retinue and riding horses, mules, milking cows, etc., but not so to others, and arrogant joy means being satisfied and joyful with one's own lineage, wealth, enjoyment, etc., and ignorant equanimity means that although one should benefit both oneself and others, one does not do so, and that one can prevent evil but does not prevent it, etc. In short, it is the state of being neither good nor bad, these four, such inferior four immeasurables are not the path to liberation, but are close to the four abodes of Brahma, so one must abandon such attachment. Moreover, the object of focus in this present state, which is related to the path of peaceful Nirvana, is all sentient beings without any partiality, but just like illusions and dreams, the way of practicing the form of all phenomena that appear but have no self-nature turns into strength, thereby becoming the cause of generating the two Bodhicittas, so it is considered to be the four excellent qualities of the four immeasurable qualities possessed by the noble Avalokiteshvara. It makes them separate from the four abodes of Brahma. Therefore, these four immeasurables are also said to have no order and no certainty in the way of practice, and that is to focus on whatever object is easy to arise. However, if one practices loving-kindness excessively and becomes the basis of attachment, then, if one turns to practicing equanimity that is free from closeness, distance, attachment, and hatred, one can be liberated from the obstacles of attachment. If one practices equanimity excessively and becomes ignorant and becomes unrecordable, then practicing compassion can prevent the cause and effect of suffering. Compassion
