For those born in the Wood element years of Tiger and Rabbit, if they encounter the Sheep year or 'khyen thog', place a yellow effigy with a sheep's head in a clean container, along with five torma offerings, and offer alcohol. Blessings and other rituals are performed as before. Recite the words of transformation: 'Hey! Kongtse Trulgyal (Kongtse the Magical King) says: The graveyard death spirit of the southwest direction has a human body and a sheep's head, the upper body is human, and the lower body is a snake, with hands like Garuda's claws, holding an iron hammer in the right hand and an iron wheel in the left. He can cut off the life of the grandfather and also take away the life of young descendants. Descending as the death spirit of the Wood element, he brings diseases of fainting and pain. Today, I offer sacrifices, please do not let the death spirit descend, release the one who has been captured. Offer the same items as the sacrifice, exchange similar items, and pray for the release of the captured soul, to be taken out of the grave.' After saying these words, walk the same number of steps as your age towards the southwest direction. 'thar thar' and auspicious prayers are as before. For those born in the years of Horse, Snake, and Dog, if they encounter 'khyen thog', place twenty-five yellow effigies with dog heads, and three square torma offerings, and offer alcohol. After blessing, recite: 'Hey! Kongtse Trulgyal says: The graveyard death spirit of the Fire element resides in the northwest direction. It has a human body and a dog's head, the upper body is human, and the lower body is a snake, with hands like bird's claws, holding a bag of diseases in the right hand and a demon's wooden board in the left. It brings diseases such as hot and cold. If you do not obey, it will send down the death spirit from the sky, and send down all plagues from the earth, bringing nine kinds of human diseases, and bringing ten kinds of poisonous diseases. Offer the same items as the sacrifice, offer gold, jewels, grains, and a dog-headed effigy. Please release the captured soul, untie the bonds, and take the human soul out of the grave.' After saying this, walk the same number of steps as your age towards the northwest direction. Recite 'thar thar' and auspicious prayers. For those born in the years of Rooster, Monkey, and Ox, if they encounter 'gin' and fall into the iron eye, place thirteen yellow effigies with ox heads, and nine white and yellow torma offerings, as well as meat and alcohol, and fill with grains for blessing. Recite: 'Hey! Kongtse Trulgyal says: The graveyard death spirit of the northeast direction has a human body and an ox's head, the upper body is human, and the lower body is a snake, with hands like bird's claws, holding a wheel of fire in the right hand and a nectar vase in the left. 愿您遣除长期的瘫痪疾病， 我将为您献上合适的供品。 祈请您将众生的生命从坟墓中救出， 释放被抓住的，解脱被束缚的。 这样说完后，向东北方向迈出与年龄相同的步数，然后将要救度的人变成红黄色，取名为‘生命救度咒’，念诵‘塔尔塔尔’和吉祥语。这样做了之后，就能从生命之源进入坟墓的过失中解脱出来，这是殊胜的朵，是文殊菩萨的化身，孔策·哲吉嘉波（Kongtse Trulgyi Gyalpo）的教导。

May you dispel the long-term paralysis disease, I will offer you suitable offerings. Please save the lives of sentient beings from the grave, Release those who are caught, liberate those who are bound. After saying this, take steps equal to the age towards the northeast direction, then transform the person to be saved into a reddish-yellow color, and name it 'Life-Saving Mantra', recite 'Tartar' and auspicious words. After doing this, one can be liberated from the fault of the source of life entering the grave.
