Listen, all of you, to the words of truth today. First, the command of Vajradhara (Dorje Chang), In the middle, the decree of Vajrapani (Phyag na Dorje), Finally, the speech of Padmasambhava (Padma Thod Treng). Translate each separately. Now, the words of the yogi, myself, Without transgressing the Buddha's teachings and vows, You, the lords of obstacles, Take this excellent offering, And befriend those who rely on you. Pacify your evil hatred. This benefactor of offerings, Or: We yogis and our retinues. Translate it thus. Release what is seized, untie what is bound, Loosen what is tied, lift what is pressed down. Pull out the arrow of disease, straighten the thorns. Turn back harmful actions, With a peaceful and loving heart towards all. Now depart, go to your abode. First, go to the place where you arose. Depart following your lineage and clan. Go to the summit of Mount Meru (Ri Rab Chenpo). Go to the place of thousands of millions. Go to the circle of the five precious things. Go to the far shore of the great ocean. Go to the place of limitless space. Pacify all malice. Henceforth, do not harm this assembly, Be under the power of the Buddhas of the ten directions, May the supreme among humans know this. By the command of the victorious Vajradhara, Bring peace, auspiciousness, and well-being! Sanskrit Romanization: vajra muḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Diamond Mu) This was compiled by Mipham Rinpoche, extracting the essence from tantras, the Thousand Nets of Demons, etc. May there be auspiciousness! Regarding the arrangement of the Torma (mdos) ritual: First, perform the Yidam (deity) practice, etc., then the six-syllable mantra and six mudras for blessing the Torma. Starting from 'Namo Sangye Kang Nyi' (Homage to the Buddha with Two Legs), until 'May you abide here'. Then, perform the Torma offering for subduing demons, etc., reciting the ritual including the main Torma deity. Then, for the expanded Torma ritual, add general practices such as 'Bhyo Naljor Wangchuk' (Bhyo, Lord of Yoga), as well as blood offerings, life ransom, the hanging of banners, and lamp offerings, according to need. Again, after the Sambhāra and the Four Names, perform the individual Torma rituals, and after the Sambhāra and Four Names, recite 'Endowed with all virtues', and after the Sambhāra, etc., add 'Take it'. Thus, accumulate the number of offerings as needed, and finally, fully display the ransom offerings, reciting 'In the past, the gods' from the Torma text, and at the end of the ritual, perform the sending of the deities, then recite 'I, today' from the Torma text. Afterwards, return inside, recite the 'Victory Song' from the Torma text, and pronounce auspicious wishes. The activities of the Yidam and Dharma protectors are thus concluded. By Mipham Rinpoche. May there be auspiciousness! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
