Third, receive the empowerment of wisdom and knowledge. The mind is empowered to meditate on samadhi. Generate the faith that you have been endowed with the special ability to achieve the Dharmakaya as a result. Again, pray intensely as before. From the three syllables at the three places of the guru, three rays of white, red, and blue light radiate. They dissolve into your own three places, purifying all the sins, obscurations, and habitual tendencies of the three doors. Receive the fourth empowerment, the precious word empowerment. Generate the thought that you have been endowed with the special ability to achieve the union of Vajradhara as a result. Then, visualize the central channel (uma nadi) in the center of your body, directly in line with the spine, slightly close to it. It is about the thickness of a wheat stalk, with a white and reddish hue, its upper end reaching the crown of the head, and its lower end reaching the secret place. Visualize it clearly. Inside that, visualize your own heart center, which is currently facing downward. Mentally turn it upward and visualize it as an eight-petaled lotus flower, open. Visualize the upper end of the central channel as being wide open like a vast expanse. Visualize it clearly as before. The guru is pleased and descends from within the central channel. Think that he is seated on a lotus and moon seat on top of the eight-petaled lotus that is visualized in your heart. Recite as many "Migjumas" as possible. It is a secret instruction to visualize blocking the upper end of your central channel and washing the inside of your body with five-colored light. Then, at the end of the session, pray for what you desire and think that the guru has granted it. Visualize the eight-petaled lotus closing like a folded bud, and on the tip of the petals, the letters of the "Migjuma" are written in gold. Below that, visualize the letters of "Arpatsana" arranged without any gaps in a golden color. Also recite it verbally. Make aspirations such as the flourishing of the teachings. From then on, it is very important to diligently practice guru yoga. Also, because the arrangement of the guru's body in the heart cannot be withdrawn until death, he descends from within the central channel. Dissolve the mantras and letters of the previous eight-petaled lotus in the heart, visualize the eight-petaled lotus opening, and think that it dissolves into the previous guru's body, and pray. The lotus closes, and the letters wrap around it from the outside. The light washes in the central channel, etc., do as before. Guru yoga is profound

This special one was given by the great Dharma King Tsongkhapa to Khedrup Thamsed Khyenpa (Khedrup Je) in the manner of a single lineage. The lineage of this is: Jetsun Jamyang (Manjushri), the great Dharma King Tsongkhapa, the wise and accomplished Thamsed Khyenpa, Jeva Sowa, Jamyang Kunga Delek, Jetsun Chokyi Gyaltsen, Jetsun Delek Nyima, Je Sharpa Namkha Gyaltsen, Zhalnga Ne Gedun Gyaltsen, then passed down in succession, Zhalnga Ne Drakpa Gyaltsen, then passed down in succession to Dorje Lodro Rinchen.
