From the Longchen Nyingtik cycle, the final volume of the Great Perfection oral instructions. From the Longchen Nyingtik cycle, the final volume of the Great Perfection oral instructions is present. In Sanskrit: Mahasandhi Upadesha Tantra Nama. In Tibetan: Called the Oral Instruction Great Perfection Tantra. Homage to the expanse of unconditioned awareness. The primordial protector, Samantabhadra, the father of all Buddhas, I, in a state of luminous emptiness where nothing exists, having conquered all ignorance that draws near, and having become enlightened, never having wandered in samsara, therefore I am known as the primordial protector. At that time, from the expanse, the power of awareness, when the clouds of spontaneously accomplished compassion are arranged, with compassion, for the sake of placing the sentient beings of samsara in the uncreated state of myself, for the sake of placing them, the unobstructed, self-arising power is explained in the tantra of ground, path, and fruition. The ground is unconditioned samsara and nirvana, the path is when clarity dawns distinctly, the fruit is spontaneously accomplished without seeking, without bondage or liberation, it is Buddhahood. Samaya. Oath/Samaya) The emptiness that transcends cause and condition, possessing the nature of luminous clarity, in the self-continuum of all sentient beings, although it abides, its own face is obscured by itself, karma and habitual tendencies envelop it in darkness, it engages in various suffering actions, for the sake of guiding them with compassion, in my great abode, for the sake of examining the way of abiding and the essence, from the unborn expanse, the continuum of words is transformed into the unobstructed vajra music. Samaya. Oath/Samaya) Mind is the door of various appearances, not remembering one but remembering nine, Samsara and, the basis of all nirvana, where does the first arising come from? Appearances such as earth, stones, mountains, and rocks, the emptiness of nothingness, the realm of space, and so forth, examining appearances, in all the realms pervaded by what is known, no matter how one examines, analyzes, and relates, in the nature of emptiness, the place of arising is lost, therefore there is no arising, because it cannot be analyzed by cause, I declare that the essence is emptiness. Likewise, in the stage of the path, of sentient beings formed by habitual tendencies, from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, when searching for the place where they abide, the searcher appears as emptiness, because it does not depend on conditions, I reveal the self-nature as clarity. Finally, when samsara is exhausted, and even the names of vessel and essence do not exist, objects and subjects, and so on, the nature

Where will it go? Even if examined, there is no truly going one, Because it is free from the source of going, It is the great all-pervading compassion. Thus, the three, arising, dwelling, and going, This mind-essence is beyond examination, Does it have substance or is it without substance? Is it clear or empty? Does it have fruit or is it without fruit? Ultimately, does it exist or not, etc.? However one examines and speculates with the mind, Like a bird searching for the edge of the sky, It cannot be exhausted by knowledge, From emptiness, awareness arises, The essence of awareness is emptiness itself, Awareness and emptiness are indivisible, Neither one nor the life of all, The good Buddha has not fabricated it, Evil sentient beings have not transformed it, The present, unmade awareness, Naked, stainless, self-luminous, Is the primordial protector, myself. Those ignorant sentient beings, Grasp it as form, Even if practiced for eons, they will not see me, They grasp me as sound, Even if awareness is counted, it will not be accomplished, They grasp me as the wisdom of compassion, That too is dualistic conceptual thought, With virtuous and non-virtuous actions and their results, In the realm without benefit or harm, good or bad, In the expanse of abandoning and adopting, action and effort being pure, It is the all-good Samantabhadra of the meaning of reality, Abiding in the equality of the four times, Abiding in the great self-abiding state beyond speech, Abiding like the unchanging Yungdrung (藏文:གཡུང་དྲུང་,汉语字面意思:Swastika), By embellishing with fabricated words, It is impossible to approach my intention, That which is directly realized, Is non-dual with me. Good! Good!). Thus, in the meaning lineage of intention, The lineage of words arises in three aspects, Mind Division, Space Division, and Instruction Division. The essence of the first, Mind Division, is: The two eyes gaze into the realm of space, Let the moving breath flow naturally, Sit comfortably in the vajra posture of meditation, Or place the two hands on the knees, All phenomena are in the state of bodhicitta, In the clear and pure awareness, Without looking with a sharp consciousness, Without the duality of the observer and the observed, In the great original abiding state, Do not modify it with a rigid mind, Do not bind it with the fetters of memory, Do not defile it with the impurities of antidotes, At that time, whatever thoughts arise, Arise from the mind and in the mind, Samsara and nirvana, without remainder, are perfected in the mind, In the nature of things abiding thus, Do not speak with conventional words, Do not see with fabricated eyes, It is the great primordial purity, deep and clear.
