Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! According to the great accomplishment mandala's text, The samaya mudra of approach is, On a sandalwood vajra kila, Mantra of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activity, Written with the essence of any precious substance. The seventeen-syllable essence of the body is: Om Akrote Kaya Yamantaka Hana Matha Bhandza Hum Phet! The nine-syllable essence of speech: Om Kala Rupa Ya Ah Hum Phet! The fifteen-syllable essence of mind: Om Hrih Shti Viti Tanana Hum Hum Phet! Phet Svaha! The twenty syllables of approach and attainment: Om Samaya Manjushri Yamantaka Panatza Tero Ni Hum Dza! The seventeen-syllable essence of activity: Yama Meda Kshe Radza Satvo Runa Yoni Raya Tzani! Having written thus, roll it in black silk, Binding the three realms in its belly, Place it inside the turtle wheel. Thereupon, this is the wheel, From the chapter on the vajra kila mudra, On the eight-petaled lotus of the mandala, Three layers of broken lines and outer circles, On the lotus heart in the center of that, Place this subduing essence: Om Thaga Bhana Marana Na! On the eastern lotus, the essence for subjugating rakshasas: Om Raksha Khagana Na! In the belly, the essence for subjugating tirthikas: Om Tira Tika Na Na! In the west, the essence for subjugating obstacles: Om Bignan Maraya Na Na! In the north, the essence for subjugating misleading spirits: Om Trangka Rina Na! On the four lotuses of the corners, write: Hum Dhi! Hum Pa! Hum Ma! Hum Sa! On the four broken lines, draw four skull-headed, long-haired ones. On the circular outer wheel, hang a garland of skulls, On the outer layer of that, draw snakes. Having thus constructed the mandala, Having bound it with a red thread, Place it in the center of the mandala.
