First, speak this truth: The Buddhas have defeated the Maras, the non-Dharma is defeated by the Dharma, the Sangha has defeated the Tirthikas, Indra will defeat the Asuras, the Asuras will defeat the moon, the thunder of the sky will utterly defeat the Nagas of the ocean, fire burns firewood, wind scatters clouds, the vajra pierces the precious cave, the gods truly abide in truth. By all these truths, may truth be accomplished today, may the harm of hail be pacified. Say this and generate intense compassion for all sentient beings. Place the crops under protection. Then, without being distracted, focus single-pointedly on the visualization just described. Only recite the mantra associated with ཨྱཻ་རིང་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, literal Chinese meaning). Then, the Manjushri mudra subdues, pervading with a body that pervades the sky, with coarse limbs, sharp weapons, and residing in the midst of a firestorm without gaps, raining down small wrathful ones and weapons from the pores, and think of burning all the hail lords like setting fire to dry grass, recite the fierce mantra like water flowing from a rock crevice, and point the threatening finger and sword etc. towards the direction from which the hail is coming, make great threats, and also throw the subjugation substance. If it approaches intensely, add the sound of HAS to the subjugation substance, and contemplate weapons, firestorms, poisonous gases, wrathful water, etc. as being of an unbearable nature.
