If, like reversing cause and effect, the intent of the scriptures is spoken of as prophecy, then understanding it as literal meaning, like Paljin, is a kind of wrong understanding. The great Vajra secret words that connect cause and effect should be examined with six limits and four methods. In mantras, if there are errors in the Sanskrit text, such as mixing goats and sheep, there is no way to fix it. Otherwise, if languages of non-humans, Troding, Kalakala, etc., are mixed in, although it is difficult to examine. As it says, "I have not said anything, yet it pervades all sentient beings," the Buddha's teachings, like beautiful music, correspond to the consciousness of the listener, so secret mantras can be accomplished through faith, which can be learned from the stories of Sakya Pandita and Andarcha. In short, if one does not possess the four reliances and cannot measure the meaning of the scriptures, then speculative wisdom is a wandering thing. Therefore, From the 'Precious Garland of Tantras': "The essence of secret mantra should be observed with subtle wisdom, very subtle wisdom, extremely profound wisdom, and very profound wisdom. Some people seek the edge, depth, end, and center in all dharmas. These people should not be called profound or very profound in wisdom, but only as reaching the end of the road." Therefore, first, like burning, cutting, and grinding gold with speculative wisdom, examine sounds and so on with subtlety and great subtlety. In the end, the teachings of the Tathagata do not contradict the nature of reality, so with extremely profound wisdom, follow the principle of not relying on provisional meaning, but relying on definitive meaning; not relying on consciousness, but relying on wisdom. This was said by the Dzogchen master Rangjung Dorje. The forty-third chapter of the Collection of Conversations ends. The forty-third chapter of the Collection of Conversations, a conversation dividing chapters for the two editors at the time when the early translation of the Precious Garland of Tantras was printed in the kingdom of Sakya lord Dege (Dege, present-day Dege in Sichuan), entitled 'The Drum Sound of the Hermit'.
