The generation stage and the practice of Guru Yoga. The main practice is Mahamudra, which is done by understanding the essence of the instructions. Afterwards, dedication and extensive pure aspirations are crucial. In short, cultivate this view, do not be attached to the appearances of the eight worldly concerns (gain, loss, destruction, fame, praise, criticism, suffering, and happiness), and relax the mind and abide. Second, explaining the text of the instructions, which is divided into three parts: revealing the name and meaning of the instructions; explaining the text that has the name; and the conduct of completing the text. The first part is divided into two points: the actual meaning of the name; and paying homage to the text that has the name. The second part is divided into three points: expressing homage and promising to explain; promising to put the instructions into practice; and the conduct after the instructions are completed. The second part is further divided into three points: this is clearly seen in the context of the commentary.
