未來之时祈愿时，上方黑鸟落于佛塔间； 彼时君王发愿言，空中飞来此黑鸟； 未来之时转生吾子，愿能得见种姓与后裔； 复又吾王发愿言，此子入于大乘门； 愿能继承吾之深奥心髓传承，利益众生无有疲厌； 菩提萨埵如是成，一致殷重发愿语； 亦是依仗发愿力，此鸟转生之前世； 金刚座寺庙之中，名唤住持达玛帕扎之子； 转生名为吉谛嘉纳，嬉戏玩耍之时，将一花鬘； 置于胜者身像之前，成为寺庙之供品； 依此播下了解脱之种子，自此次第直至如今； 于一切生世相续中，皆与解脱道相连。吉谛嘉纳转世之后； 于兜率天中，于胜幢之前，化为天子无垢称； 其后于能仁之前，纵然已见无碍之阿罗汉； 为令信解因果取舍故，此后命终转生于印度中部； 化为摩揭陀国之善施主，此后转生为持律之婆罗门； 此后转生于车林之鹿，转生之后具足慈悲力； 此后于寂天城中，化为贫女施水者； 此后转为根本商主遍善，又与友伴共同增广福德力； 于香遍玛赫城中转生，以所挤之乳供养阿罗汉； 此后转生于贝达城中，化为良生善妙之施主； 亦将对一切众生行供施承侍恭敬，此后转生于香气弥漫之城中； 化为商人之子，具足善妙之业，此后为令累世增广福德故； 具足不定之诸种姓氏，即汉地遍善之种姓教师； 以及菩萨之地商主扬坚之，语自在王是也。

At the time of making aspirations for the future, a black bird landed with its beak between the stupas from above; At that time, the sovereign king made an aspiration, "May this black bird that has flown from the sky; Be born as my son in that future time, may I see its lineage and descendants; Again, my king made an aspiration, "May this son enter the gate of the Great Vehicle; May he inherit the lineage of my profound essence, and may he benefit beings without weariness; Bodhisattva, may it be so," he spoke the words of concordant, earnest aspiration; Also, relying on the power of aspiration, before the birth of that bird; In the vicinity of the temple of Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya), As the son of the abbot named Dharmapatra; Having been born as Kirti Jnana, in the manner of play, a garland of flowers; Having placed it before the image of the Victorious One, it became an offering of the temple; Depending on that, the seed of liberation was sown, from then on, gradually until now; In all successive births, a connection to the path of liberation was established. After being born as Kirti Jnana; In the Tushita heaven, before the Noble White Banner, he became the celestial son Immaculate Fame; Then, before the Sage, even though he had seen the unobstructed Arhat; In order to have faith in cause and effect, and to adopt and abandon, after that, having passed away, in the central region of India; He was born as a good patron of Magadha, after that he was born as a Brahmin who upholds the scriptures; After that, he was born as a deer in the grove of chariots, having been born, he was endowed with the power of compassion; After that, in the city of Shanti, he became a poor girl who gave water; After that, he became the chief merchant Pen Sang, and also with companions, through the power of increasing the assembly; Having been born in the fragrant city of Maher, he offered the milk that was milked to the Arhats; After that, having passed away, in the city of Bheta, he became a good patron of auspicious birth; He would also make offerings, give charity, and show respect to all, after that he was born in the fragrant city; Having become the son of a merchant, he was endowed with good deeds, after that, in order to increase merit through successive generations; Endowed with all uncertain lineages, namely the Han Chinese Pen Sang lineage teacher; And the merchant of the Bodhisattva land, Yangchen's, King of Eloquence.

In short, in the east and west of India, Nepal, and many directions of the Jambudvipa world, etc., in these places of the six realms, he took many births, purified karmic obscurations from past lives, and accumulated merit. Finally, he was reborn as the son of King Beta. When he was named 'Infinite Light,' the Holy One prophesied that I and he would become teacher and disciple. He was given empowerment, made aspirations, and received the empowerment symbol. His secret name was 'Lotus Dance自在 (Tibetan: པདྨ་གར་གྱི་དབང་ཕྱུག, Sanskrit Devanagari: पद्मगर्नृत्येश्वर, Sanskrit Roman: padmagarnṛtyeśvara, meaning: Lotus Dance自在),' and Avalokiteśvara protected him with compassion.
