Because land is important, the basis of the body, in general, taking the possession of leisure and endowment as the foundation, in order to accomplish the great benefit of oneself and others, it is praised that only renunciation from household life is praised. Because of the matter, seeing these, building temples and monasteries for the gathering of monks, just as my teacher extensively proclaimed, this itself is the most excellent of all the merits arising from material. Mastering the wisdom of the path of skillful emanation bodies like the ocean, possessing discriminating wisdom and special superior intention, the virtuous friend Karma Chöpel, who holds the essence of the practice lineage, in order to May the lotus feet of all the upholders of the doctrine be firm and their activities flourish, may the community of monks in the ten directions increase, may the merits of the three activities of teaching, practice, and action be stable, may all realms of the world be filled with great goodness, and may all related beings of oneself and others purify the two obscurations, complete the two accumulations, and establish themselves in liberation and ultimate enlightenment with a single-minded intention, within the great Tibetan region, a branch of Dokham Smar Khams Gang, possessing all the ten virtues of the land, at the junction of the Chinese and Tibetan borders, on the essence of the land called "Denma Shab" on the branch of Gya-ne Teng, the auspicious monastery "Thubten Dhargyeling" and its supports and supported, built with excellent generosity, constant diligence, and respectful diligence. We also, with a good intention of rejoicing in the vast white deeds, offered the image of Amitayus, the scripture of the Bhadrakalpika Sutra, and the vajra and bell, and made good prayers. In short, the work to be done by the lamas and monks residing here is, as the noble Asanga said: Those who abide in discipline, hear, and contemplate, Should diligently practice meditation. As it is said, first of all, it depends entirely on pure discipline. Therefore, once entering this monastery, one should offer hair to the lama and khenpo who possess the qualities of stability and erudition, and from then on, stay away from worldly affairs and the imitation of village mantra practitioners, and practice the supreme Dharma as it is.

As it is said, with steadfast mindfulness, awareness, and prudence, one should study diligently from the foundation of the alphabet without any懈怠. Upon reaching the appropriate age, motivated by renunciation and bodhicitta, one should receive the pure vows of a novice monk (getsul) and a fully ordained monk (gelong). Listen to and adopt the subtle details of what to abandon and what to adopt. In particular, one should abandon the four root vows, including alcohol, even at the cost of one's life. One should also firmly don the armor of abandoning those things that pertain to defeat (parajika) and remaining (sanghavasesa). One should protect vows of abandonment and transgression as much as possible. If one is stained by misdeeds, one should confess those that are appropriate to confess. One should guard those that are appropriate to guard. One should bless those that are appropriate to bless, and one should take to heart the solemn vow not to associate with misdeeds and transgressions for even a single day. One should establish this as the foundation. Loving-kindness and compassion, And the precious mind of enlightenment, one should train the mind well, not engaging in actions that harm sentient beings, not even in dreams. With a virtuous intention, one should consider how to benefit others. This is the main basis for the thought of a Mahayana practitioner. In particular, from the time one receives the empowerment of mantra, one should not separate from the perception of the guru as a Buddha, and one should protect the root and branch vows and commitments with one's life. This is the root of all the good qualities of this life and the next. Thus, one should well guard one's mind-stream with the three vows. First, one should diligently study reading and writing, which are the foundation of all qualities. Then, one should gradually memorize rituals and practices. One should become proficient in all the necessary practices, both great and small, including chanting, mudras, musical instruments, drawing, measurements, and torma making, becoming a capable and perfect monk who adorns the teachings. The essence of meaning is to inspire the mind-stream with renunciation. To take bodhicitta as the foundation. To increase the qualities of realization for one's own benefit through the three practices of hearing, contemplating, and meditating on the profound points of the generation and completion stages, with whatever skill one possesses. For the benefit of others, if one can create a meaningful connection with those to be tamed, then one will truly be a vidyadhara monk, happy in this life and Virtuous in the next. Not envying others, happy oneself, having obtained a life of leisure and opportunity, this is what is most important. Therefore, keep this in mind, and looking up to the great monasteries, emulate the authentic view, conventional conduct, and essential practice of the great charioteers of the sacred land of India.
