A few items beneficial to new scholars. A few items beneficial to new scholars. A few items prepared for new scholars are here. Homage to the Buddha! The difference between outer and inner is: conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all contaminated things are suffering. Those who do not accept nirvana as peace are outsiders, those who accept it are insiders. Among them, those who mainly take refuge in the Three Jewels are insiders, those who do not take refuge are outsiders. The tenets of the inner Buddhist schools are divided into two: Hinayana and Mahayana. Among them, those who believe that external objects are truly existent are Hinayana, those who do not believe they are truly existent are Mahayana. Hinayana is further divided into Vaibhashika and Sautrantika. Those who believe that objects and consciousness come into contact and are directly visible are Vaibhashika, those who believe that objects and consciousness are hidden are Sautrantika. Mahayana is further divided into Madhyamaka and Cittamatra. Those who believe that the mind is truly existent are Cittamatra, those who believe that the mind is also not truly existent are Madhyamaka. Cittamatra is further divided into true aspect and false aspect. Phenomena are mind, those who only believe that aspects are real are true aspect, those who believe that aspects are also false are false aspect. Madhyamaka is further divided into Svatantrika and Prasangika. Those who establish Svatantrika reasoning and acknowledge emptiness, etc., are Svatantrika, those who pacify all conceptual elaborations are Prasangika. The difference between Sutra and Tantra is: not being ignorant, having many methods, not being difficult, and being suitable for those with sharp faculties. With these four characteristics, the Tantric path is more excellent. Tantra is further divided into four classes. Generating the deity in front of oneself as an ordinary person, seeking siddhis in the manner of a lord and servant is Kriya Tantra. Viewing both oneself and the front as deities, obtaining siddhis in the manner of friends is Charya Tantra. Oneself as the Samaya Being, inviting the Wisdom Being to merge, sealing with the four seals, dissolving the mudras in the session break, the Wisdom Being departs, and oneself remains as an ordinary person is Yoga Tantra. In all sessions and session breaks, regarding the Samaya Being and Wisdom Being as inseparable, and characterized by the wisdom of great bliss is Anuttarayoga Tantra. The maturing means of the Tantric path is the vessel for generating wisdom, the liberating means is the method for actually generating wisdom, and this is also in terms of the main aspect. In the generation stage of the liberating means, practicing heat and moisture, generating the five manifest enlightenments, practicing egg-born, generating from the seed bindu.

Thus, those born from the womb are tamed through entering the womb, and those born miraculously are tamed through instantaneous recollection and completion, making a total of four methods. Each of these methods powerfully tames everything. In the completion stage, the path between the first two empowerments is with signs, while the later path is without signs. However, individually, the distinctions of with and without signs are endless due to the differences in coarseness and subtlety. The ultimate clear light of realization is the Dharmakaya of the Buddha; compared to that, all clear lights of learning are clear lights of experience. In learning, daytime is experience, and nighttime is realization. During the day, the non-disappearance of the appearance of the six aggregates of clear light is experience, and their disappearance is realization. At night, the incomplete absorption of the three appearances is experience, and their absorption is realization, and so on, with many internal distinctions. The Mahamudra of ground, path, and fruition is: the uncorrected nature of mind is the ground, recognizing it as it is is the path, and its manifestation is the fruition. The three great ones are: Dzogchen, which emphasizes appearance; Madhyamaka, which emphasizes emptiness; and Mahamudra, which emphasizes union. The four yogas of Mahamudra are: mind abiding in emptiness and clarity is one-pointedness, seeing one's own nature as it is is freedom from elaboration, appearance and mind becoming one taste is one taste, and the exhaustion of all signs is no meditation. Therefore, the way to apply the path to this is that one-pointedness is the accumulation and joining paths, freedom from elaboration is the seeing path, one taste is the seven impure bhumis, and no meditation appears to be applied to the pure bhumis. The three vows are: abandoning actions that harm others as their basis is the Pratimoksha vow, accomplishing whatever benefits others is the Bodhisattva vow, and both being held by deities and wisdom is the unsurpassed secret mantra vow. Just as when practicing the perfections, all six are condensed and practiced individually, similarly in mantra, the visualization and recitation of the deity are condensed, and each is practiced in conjunction with the five paths. First, accumulating merit through refuge, bodhicitta, and the seven-branch practice to the field of merit is the accumulation path and the joining path. Through mantras such as Sanskrit Romanization: svabhāva, Literal Chinese Meaning: self-nature), purifying all appearances of grasping and clinging into emptiness is the seeing path. After that, viewing oneself as the Rupakaya is the eight bhumis of the path of meditation. Blessing the three places and inviting the wisdom being is the three pure bhumis. After empowerment, being sealed by the family lord is Buddhahood. Recitation is turning the wheel of Dharma. Finally, dissolving into clear light is Nirvana. From then on, appearing as the union body.
