Having accomplished the ultimate meaning of sound and meaning through union, I pray to the feet of Chandragomin, who explains them as they are, to appear manifestly in this realm! 12 With the three valid cognitions that measure the three abodes, having measured without error and established and refuted, for all rational methods, he naturally holds the conduct of Dignāga. 13 You are the most excellent of all poetic ornaments, Daṇḍin, skilled in composing verses, the source of jewels and peaceful things, knowing all nouns and words, holding all the courage of the immortal lion. 14 For the determination of outsiders, the Wheel of Time, and the treatises that reveal the certainty of vowels, explaining them without mixing, I pray to you, Mañjuśrī with lineage, known as the moon on the crown! 15 Furthermore, for the enchanting dramatic dances and so on, the ocean of culture, a treasure of intelligence, full of joy, with the pride of Brahmā, the power of discernment accomplished, I pray to the clear light of youth! 16 For the great mother of knowledge, the Abhidharma, and the Vinaya treatises that show the place of permission and prohibition, accomplishment, Vasubandhu, Śākya Yon tan Ö, appeared in the land of snow mountains. 17 From the peak of the three schools, the profound and vast, the path of the essence of the view of definitive meaning Madhyamaka, seeing as it is, Nāgārjuna and his sons, and Asaṅga who attained knowledge. 18 Using outer actions and samādhi together, the tantric treatises that emphasize profound yoga, I pray that you know without error the tradition of Sangye Gönpo, the secret Buddha! 19 In particular, for explaining and spreading the ocean of tantras of unsurpassed inner yoga, I pray that the glorious Lord of Secrets, Tārā's protector, holds the world as desired! 20 Especially, to open the tradition of the three vehicles of generation and completion stages with the seal of previous habits and courage, I pray that the feet of the unchanging accomplished one, Padmasambhava, dance the maroon dance! 21 Thus, for the ocean of inner and outer cultures, having skillfully cut off additions and subtractions in listening and thinking, and finally for the conduct of achieving realization in practice, the sons and conquerors praise. 22 Because of mastering the teachings, including the Prātimokṣa vows, that come from the glorious Karma school, possessing all the limbs of stability, skill, and benefit, you are a treasure of the ocean of qualities. 23 With the intention to benefit others, having well grasped the basis of learning, guarding the vows and gathering the Dharma, benefiting sentient beings, practicing enlightenment.
