May those who are rich be elevated, Especially the source of precious qualities, the treasure of discipline that abides by the rules. May the ears of the mind that enter with aspiration be filled, with the union of E-Vam-Maya (Tibetan: ཨེ་ཝཾ་མཱ་ཡཱ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: एवं माया, Sanskrit Romanization: evam maya, Literal Chinese meaning: Thus Illusion). In the lush shade, may the four bodies be inseparable, and may they rest comfortably as nourishment for the heart. 21 In short, in all realms of existence, even if sought with the wisdom of Brahma, There is no equal to the wonderful biography of The Victorious-in-all-Directions Pandit. May all limitless sentient beings become equal to you, Protector, And may the prayers to surely liberate them with your own power be fulfilled as desired. 22 Thus, by the virtue of praising the qualities of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and the actual Manjushri Lama, By slightly plucking the strings of the melodious and captivating jewel lute of poetry, May all the unpacified and untamed sentient beings, as numerous as the dust of the ocean, Attain the omniscient wisdom that follows the expression of his realization. 23 Whoever sees these words, Or hears or remembers them, May they soon be embraced by the smiling face of Manjushri Lama, And be joyfully accepted. 24 Here, some are not merely those who boast of being wise and accomplished, But are truly omniscient ones, Again, I prostrate with remembrance. 25 Thus, this work, entitled "The Melodious and Captivating Jewel Lute of Poetry," a brief praise of the biography of the glorious Sakya Pandita the Great, is composed because of the great faith in all unbiased teachings, and the extraordinary devotion to the qualities of Manjushri Lama, taking only this as the cause. Near the essence of Nyangme (Nyangto, now in Nepal), the adorned solitary place of Bodhi the Great, at the time when the third Buddha to come, the great Kashmiri Pandit, enthroned Manjushri Dharma King with complete initiation, taking as evidence the precious stone basin used for washing the hair, which was made from a hundred merits and had the color of a bee, and with the power of steadfast prayer, having slightly received the light of blessing, as it appeared in the mind. By Dari Dawa (a person's name), the sun of eloquence who traveled the kingdoms, near the Dharma garden of the scholars of the glorious Shalu (Shalu Monastery, located in present-day Shigatse, Tibet) Golden Temple, a place blessed by Buton Rinchen, the omniscient one of debate, on the side of a bright place, in the auspicious white side of the Churu month (December in the Tibetan calendar) of the year of virtue (name of a Tibetan calendar year).
