The excellent and complete order is arranged according to the law. 11. The five bases of knowledge, the three realms, the three existences, the common and uncommon four truths, etc., the distinctions of conceptual and non-conceptual, etc., all are said to be the twenty-five existences. 12. The Dharmadhatu, the ultimate reality, the Tathagatagarbha, the eternal, all-pervading, self-aware wisdom, the fully endowed with all aspects, the discriminating characteristic, the non-elaborate, untainted, definitive characteristic. 13. The union, the nature, the lineage, and the ultimate element, thus, its characteristics are nine aspects. In this, there are the characteristics of the ultimate reality realm, and yogis have different appearances. 14. Although that realm is not the cause of samsara, without it, it would not exist. Just as the circle of wind relies on the sky, it is established as the basis of samsara. 15. The nature lineage has no awakening or non-awakening. Because of its existence, the reason for growth and birth is that it is merely established as awakening. This increases and that also increases, the term is applied. 16. A slight accumulation of all habits, clear awareness, appearing as self and having various object appearances. Just as many drops of water do not gather, it is called a great river. If waves arise there. 17. It is difficult to distinguish the difference between waves and rivers. The Alaya consciousness is like a great river. The habits accumulated from beginningless time are all gathered. The seeds of new admixtures of present habits and, 18. The stream of previous admixtures is the Vipaka. There is no difference in substance, it is the same as water. The nature is clear, but the aspects of objects are not clear, and it focuses on all objects. 19. It has the power to show all containers and contents, and that infinite is the same for all. The seven consciousnesses are like the waves of a river. Those transformations of clarity and awareness are also, 20. In the manner of awareness, they are the same as the Alaya, but they do not have the characteristics of mind. Although water waves and rivers are the same as water, they do not have its characteristics. 21. In the Mahayana, the five dharmas are taught, which are the nature of the movement of sound and mind. The general aspect of the place of expression is the reason. On that, the general word is nominally called name. 22. Suchness transcends the realm of expression. It is only the realm of activity of the wisdom of the noble ones. Name and reason are other than that.

There is not. Suchness and essence are also inexpressible. 23. All essences have three characteristics: the imputed part imputed by speech is the totally imputed; the different kinds born from one's own causes and conditions are other-dependent; and the reality that is primordially established is the perfectly established. 24. The totally imputed and the other-dependent are said to be dependent arising. There are two of these: what is produced and what produces, what is placed and what places, and dependent arising that is influenced. The first is other-dependent, the second is totally imputed. 25. All dependent arisings are artificial and sudden. Like the consciousness of smoke born from a fire crystal, from the appearance of afflictions arises the consciousness of karma. The consciousness that arises from that is like the four elements. 26. That consciousness is also like the knowledge in a dream. It has never existed from the beginning, but it appears without ceasing. Just as burning appears from fire in a dream, it transcends all existence, non-existence, permanence, and annihilation. 27. Such a dharmadhatu, with such an image, is the dependent arising of ultimate truth alone. It does not arise from anything, nor does it depend on anything. It is unchanging, free from elaboration, and permanent. 28. The three perversions are friends of the view of self. The self is permanent or desires to remain temporarily permanent. Thinking of annihilation as different from the previously existing truth, looking at beings is looking at the extremes of permanence and annihilation. 29. Conditioned things never have the opportunity to be permanent. From impermanence, one realizes emptiness and suffering. Those who suffer are not fit to be agents, and impermanence contradicts self and agent. 30. Grasping at the self of phenomena is attachment to things. There is no permanence or annihilation in mere appearances that are not true. Wisdom that is truly established is not the self of phenomena. There is no cessation or abiding because there is no birth, 31. No difference because there is no oneness, no coming because there is no going, no annihilation because there is no permanence. All phenomena are both two selflessnesses, 32. but the way to negate what is to be negated is distinguished by negating from the aspect. To take hold of those to be tamed, the Victorious Ones spoke of these two. The Buddha is permanent, sentient beings are without self of person, and the basis of the selflessness of phenomena that possesses all aspects. 33. On suchness, the self of phenomena of conventional truth never exists, and the meaning of selflessness is spoken of. In ultimate truth, there is no negation or affirmation, one and different, birth and cessation, free from elaboration. 34. The object of the consciousness whose nature is truly empty is the nature of mere conventional truth. The nature of oneself is truly established
