度量是： 度量是： 一百二十个刹那为一怛刹那，那些刹那的六十倍为一罗婆，臾刹那、日夜、月三个，从前到后都是三十倍。包含不能忍受的，十二个月为一年。如是说。《释量论》中说：极微尘聚合的极短时间，称为刹那。或者说，俱舍论师们认为，一个有力量的人弹指间有六十四刹那。具有这样标准的，一百二十个刹那为一怛刹那，六十个怛刹那为一罗婆，三十个罗婆为一臾刹那，三十个臾刹那为一日夜，三十个日夜为一月，十二个月为一年。 以受用而确定，有痛苦、快乐、饮食、性爱四种受用。痛苦的受用是：在八热地狱中，下面全部是烧红的铁地，布满了熊熊燃烧的火焰，四面都被铁的围墙环绕。在火焰达到无数俱胝的里面，比劫末之火还要热的复活地狱之火，而且比那还要热四倍的火焰，无间断地焚烧的痛苦。特别是，在复活地狱中，由于业力的作用，手中会出现刀等各种锋利的武器，所有人都互相视为仇敌而互相砍杀，极其痛苦而昏厥倒地时，从空中传来声音：“你们复活吧！”或者，刮起寒冷的风，再次复活，像之前一样遭受剧烈的痛苦，直到业力穷尽为止。黑绳地狱中的众生，狱卒们在他们的身体上画出四道、八道、十六道等许多黑线，然后用燃烧的铁锯锯开，或者用斧头等砍劈的痛苦。众合地狱中的众生，身体聚集在一起，狱卒们将他们夹在铁山的脸面之间，或者夹在羊、马、大象、狮子、老虎的脸面之间。随即，那些山挤压他们，所有毛孔中都流出鲜血

The measure is: The measure is: One hundred and twenty kshanas are one tatkshana, sixty times those kshanas are one lava, yurksana, day and night, and month are three, from front to back are thirty times. Including the unbearable, twelve months are one year. Thus it is said. In the Pramanavarttika it says: The extremely short time of the aggregation of atoms is called kshana. Or, the Koshikas believe that a powerful person has sixty-four kshanas in a finger snap. With such standards, one hundred and twenty kshanas are one tatkshana, sixty tatkshanas are one lava, thirty lavas are one yurksana, thirty yurksanas are one day and night, thirty days and nights are one month, and twelve months are one year. Determined by enjoyment, there are four kinds of enjoyment: suffering, happiness, food, and sexual enjoyment. The enjoyment of suffering is: in the eight hot hells, the bottom is all red-hot iron ground, covered with blazing flames, and all sides are surrounded by iron walls. Inside the flames reaching countless kotis, the fire of the reviving hell is hotter than the fire of the end of the kalpa, and the flames that are four times hotter than that, burn continuously. In particular, in the reviving hell, due to the power of karma, various sharp weapons such as knives will appear in their hands, and all will regard each other as enemies and kill each other. When they are extremely painful and faint and fall to the ground, a voice comes from the sky: "You will be revived!" Or, a cold wind blows, and they are revived again, suffering intense pain as before, until the karma is exhausted. The beings in the Black Rope Hell, the hell guards draw four, eight, sixteen, etc. black lines on their bodies, and then saw them open with a burning iron saw, or the pain of being chopped with axes, etc. The beings in the Aggregate Crushing Hell, their bodies gather together, and the hell guards sandwich them between the faces of iron mountains, or between the faces of sheep, horses, elephants, lions, and tigers. Immediately, those mountains squeeze them, and blood flows from all the pores.

Wandering and gathering again, the great iron wheel crushes like sugarcane, and when gathered again, the suffering of being struck and destroyed by a hail of iron on the burning iron ground, crying and searching for a place to stay, finding an iron house, as soon as they enter, the door closes, and fire blazes from all directions, burning them, crying, and desperately calling out but finding no help, the suffering. Crying out loudly, like before, entering two-story iron houses and so on, experiencing extremely intense suffering. For the beings in the hot hells, the pus in their bodies is countless kotis, put into the burning fire and cooked like fish, the burning iron skewer pierces from the anus to the crown of the head, and flames blaze from all the pores. Thrown onto the burning iron ground, the suffering of being struck by a burning giant iron hammer. For the beings in the extremely hot hells, a burning three-pronged iron skewer pierces from the anus to the crown of the head and both shoulders, and raging fire blazes from all the sense organs. Burning giant iron sheets tightly wrap around the body, and they are put into boiling molten iron and copper, like dumplings being cooked. Flesh and blood are exhausted, leaving only bones, spread on the iron ground, flesh and blood immediately grow, and then they are cooked again, and so on. For the beings in the uninterrupted hells, raging fire comes from all directions from the iron ground, burning their skin, flesh, tendons, bones, and marrow, appearing only as a pile of flames, and only by uttering a pitiful sound can they barely be recognized as sentient beings. Mixing huge iron filings with burning iron charcoal fire and cooking them, making them go up and down the burning giant iron mountain, pulling out the tongue, stretching it straight on the burning iron ground, and nailing it with many iron nails, peeling off the skin, lying face up on the burning iron ground, cutting open the mouth with an iron cutter, pouring in the burning iron hammer and boiling molten copper, burning the mouth, throat, and internal organs, starting from the lower body.
