A Commentary on "Tara, Self-Liberation from the Fear of Assemblies," Ornament of Jamyang's Thought, Composed by Dharmakirti. A Commentary on "Tara, Self-Liberation from the Fear of Assemblies," Ornament of Jamyang's Thought, Composed by Dharmakirti. ༄༅! A Commentary on "Tara, Self-Liberation from the Fear of Assemblies," Ornament of Jamyang's Thought. Homage to Arya Tara! To the Bhagavan Arya Tara, and to the peaceful, detached, and sacred Dharma, and to the Sangha, the supreme of assemblies, I prostrate and take refuge from the depths of my heart. In order to not be separated from the loving-kindness focused on sentient beings, and from great compassion, this "Tara, Self-Liberation from the Fear of Assemblies," will be explained to the supreme beings. Here, the nature of all dharmas, which is emptiness, is free from arising and ceasing, its essence is primordially pure, like the sky, uncreated by conditions, is the unconditioned. To this, the profound secret of the words of the Sugata, which is the essence of the Tathagata, is extensively explained in the Sutras such as the Sutra of Manifesting the Essence of the Tathagata as the "Dhatu of the Essence of the Sugata." This is called the primordial ground or the naturally arising awareness of the ground-state in the non-common Tantra systems. Its characteristics are: its essence is primordially pure, and it is clear because adventitious stains have not entered its nature; it is not like a blank emptiness, therefore it is naturally luminous; it does not fall into the extremes of existence and non-existence, and it is undisturbed because it is free from all elaborations; it is taught as not being fabricated by causes and conditions. The Samadhiraja Sutra says: "Pure and clear, luminous and undisturbed, unconditioned is the essence of the Sugata, the Dharma-nature that has always been present." Also, in the intermediate turning of the wheel of Dharma, it is taught as the nature of the three doors of liberation. The Brahma-visesacinti-pariprccha Sutra says: "All dharmas are of the nature of emptiness, free from objects. All dharmas are of the nature of signlessness, free from conception and discrimination. All dharmas are of the nature of wishlessness, the nature of neither accepting nor rejecting, which is naturally luminous." And so on. The Grub mtha' rin po che'i mdzod says: "The primordial ground, the naturally arising wisdom, is without limit and without bias, its essence is emptiness, like the sky; its nature is clear, like the sun and moon."

Compassion pervades like rays of light. These three are inseparable in essence, and in the nature of the three kayas' wisdom, they have always been constantly abiding in the realm of immutability and unchangeability, and so on. It is neither samsara nor nirvana. From the perspective of understanding, it is called the Great Pure Essence of Dharmadhatu Nature. As it is said, it is considered to be the original ground, the emptiness of awareness, free from extremes, that is to be explained. First, the word "Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱ༵ཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Chinese literal meaning: Ah)" is used to mainly express the definite meaning, symbolizing the word of unborn. That is, as it is said in the Manjushri Magical Net: "Ah is the best of all letters, it is a sacred letter of great meaning, it arises from within, without birth, beyond expression in words." As it is said. Thus, from the perspective of essence, it does not fall into any aspect of appearance or emptiness, it is the great wisdom of emptiness free from extremes, and from the nature of the three times without change, the mandala of the Victorious Ones, which establishes the world as its foundation, is inherently complete. The Great Glorious Oral Instruction says: "The deity itself is the actual Bodhicitta, the mind itself is the Buddha's wisdom. It does not need to be generated, it is inherently so. In the indeterminate, whatever arises, without blocking or creating, the nature is clear. In the self-radiance beyond thought and expression, any symbols and metaphors appear. Merely appearing, yet not established, it is emptiness." And, as it is said in the Tantra: "The limbs of the Vajra heap are known as the five complete Buddhas. All the many realms, elements, and aggregates are the mandala of the Bodhisattva. Earth, water, eye, and Mamaki, fire, wind, white-clad Tara and Tara, space is the sovereign mother of the Dharmadhatu, the three realms are inherently Buddhas, all the remaining dharmas are not other than the Buddhas. The dharmas other than the Buddhas are not attained by the Buddhas themselves." As it is said, in the impure and deluded appearance, this illusory (Tibetan: སྒྱ༵་, Sanskrit Devanagari: maya, Sanskrit Romanization: māyā, Chinese literal meaning: illusion) body aggregate of the four elements, although it appears to be included in the truth of suffering, in the pure and equal original state of reality, all the aggregates, realms, and elements are unborn and inherently complete, as the symbol of the deity, the world appears pure (Tibetan: ད༵ག་པ༵་, Sanskrit Devanagari: viśuddha, Sanskrit Romanization: viśuddha, Chinese literal meaning: pure) and all-encompassing (Tibetan: ར༵བ་འབྱ༵མས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: sarvābhāva, Sanskrit Romanization: sarvābhāva, Chinese literal meaning: all) great (Tibetan: ཀློ༵ང་, Sanskrit Devanagari: garbha, Sanskrit Romanization: garbha, Chinese literal meaning: womb) realm. In the center (Tibetan: དབུ༵ས་གཡུ༵་ལོ༵་བཀོ༵ད་པ༵འམ་, Chinese literal meaning: placed in the center) of the lotus in the heart, or the pure land of complete activity, outwardly, it is the thousand Buddhas of the Good Aeon in Magadha in the center of Jambudvipa.
