Actual practice. Actual practice. The yoga of view. Fourth, practicing with the four yogas, there are actual and session yogas. First, in actual practice, there are four: view, meditation, action, and result. Among them, first, the yoga of view, all that is to be seen, the seer, and the dharma of seeing, the emptiness in which no essence is established in any way, the self-nature, self-radiance clear as light, unceasing compassion, whatever arises is liberated in its own place, this is the nature of view. All dharmas of samsara and nirvana are called view because they are directly seen by the senses. Differentiated, there are the general view of phenomena and the self-view of dharmata. The general view is the different tenets of each of the nine vehicles. The self-view is, looking at the objects gathered by the six outer aggregates, seeing that phenomena have no self-nature, like stars in the ocean. Looking inward at the nature of emptiness of dharmata, seeing that all is unestablished in self-nature, like the center of the sky. Secretly looking at rigpa, seeing and realizing with the senses without being limited by mental judgment, is the view of effortless perfection. The way to practice it is, looking at outer phenomena, seeing whatever appears as like dreams and illusions, without abandoning delusion, purifying it in its place, and liberating afflictions in their own place. Looking inward at the mind of movement and memory, thoughts naturally dissolve like mist in the sky. Secretly looking at the clear light of dharmata, there is not even a name for the clinging of settling into the state, it is exhausted in the state of original purity. Again, secretly looking at the manifest nature of rigpa without distraction, it is self-liberated from the view of mental judgment. Thus, the yogis of this view also see and liberate the meanings of other vehicles. In the root tantra it says: When the nature of view is seen, mental judgment does not move with words. And it says: Seeing the nature of reality directly with the senses, that is called view. In "The Lamp That Illuminates" it says: There are two kinds of view, the view of phenomena and the view of dharmata. Those below Anu, according to their own wishes, only look at phenomena, and do not touch the meaning of dharmata. Some kinds of Ati do not even see a small part of this. The scope of the Great Perfection thigle, neither outer, inner, nor secret touches this meaning. Therefore, the great secret instruction is, the view itself is very profound.

Excellent! In the view of non-action, one sees with the eye of non-seeing. Thus it is said. In the Tantra it is said: All inner and outer secrets, one sees and realizes in their very nature. Thus it is said. In the Absence of Letters it is said: Because there is no view, there is nothing to see. One should know in the state of non-acting view. Thus, if one realizes the meaning of the non-dual view, in the meaning of view, view is naturally absent. It is neither existent nor non-existent, one should abide in the state of that luminosity. Thus it is said. In the Lion's Complete Prowess it is said: The ultimate view of all Buddhas does not go beyond the two, space and wisdom. Thus it is said. In the Lamp Illuminating it is said: For example, when one reaches the summit of the King of Mountains, one sees the lower mountains, likewise one sees the meaning of the lower tantras as they are, the lower does not see the higher. Thus it is said. In short, the essence of luminosity is emptiness, its nature is clarity, and compassion arises without obstruction, this is the view of meditative equipoise. These various appearances of phenomena and existence, realizing that these appearances are without inherent existence like a reflection of the moon in water, is the view of post-meditation. The utmost diligence is without excess. The intermediate is liberation in the bardo. The lowest is also becoming a Buddha in the pure land of the Nirmanakaya. In the Union of Sun and Moon it is said: The highest does not need two births, the intermediate is in the interval of two births, the lowest ones, when the breath is expelled, the emanated one liberates his own continuum. Thus it is said. The Yoga of Meditation. Secondly, regarding the yoga of meditation, the view of non-action to be meditated upon, the continuous mind-consciousness that meditates, and the method of posture etc., are the essence of meditation. Continuously abiding in the samadhi that possesses that essence is called meditation. Divided, there are the meditation of method, the meditation of wisdom, and the meditation of the indivisibility of method and wisdom. The former includes tummo and limitless methods. Here, the meaning of the above view, the union of space and wisdom, method and wisdom, the state of emptiness and clarity without grasping, to abide in meditative equipoise with one-pointedness, without laziness intervening, is called the meditation of the union of day and night. The way to practice it is: divide it into sessions, without laziness or idleness, at the beginning of each session generate bodhicitta, in the actual session without object and without distraction, at the end of the session seal it with dedication. In short, without straying from the view of meditative equipoise, practice clarity and emptiness without grasping, and in post-meditation practice like dreams and illusions. Thus it is. And also in the Tantra it is said:
