La. Having realized that good and bad are both completely liberated, one gains confidence in abandoning acceptance and rejection. As the Thallgyur states: Self-awareness is free from all concepts, endowed with four great modes of liberation. Liberated from the beginning, there is no need to re-establish a foundation. Naturally liberated, there is no need for antidotes. Liberated immediately, it vanishes in the place of seeing. Completely liberated, there is no need for effort. Thus, the knowing or conceptualization that is labeled as liberation is merely a label; it goes nowhere and comes from nowhere. It transcends causes, conditions, and objects. Like reflections in a clear mirror, no matter how they appear, they neither benefit nor harm the ground. Free from bias and the effort of grasping, whatever arises is without attachment, and the rootless awareness abides in its own state of self-arising, thus it is liberated as self-liberation. Abiding without certainty, it is liberated as non-grasping. Abiding as primordially liberated, it is liberated as groundless. Abiding as spontaneously present, it is liberated as directly struck. Abiding as the arising itself, it is liberated as appearance and emptiness, and thus, in the great equality of appearance and liberation without distinction, without meditation, the original state of primordial purity is realized and liberated. Furthermore, the Thallgyur states: What is called the liberation of one's own mind does not go from one place to another. The mind that is not liberated by anything, being complete from the ground, has no coming or going. It is not found by searching, and there is no cessation. Being rootless and baseless, it abides as emptiness and clarity. The nature of mind that abides as self-illumination is liberated by the key point, so there is no bias. Liberated by timing, there is no dependence. Liberated without effort, there is no diligence. So it is said. Thus, the instructions for practicing the profound meaning of Kadag Trekchö are completed. Seclusion.
