Closing. Closing. Third, because the nature is free from action, the manner of closing in the vast expanse where the three doors naturally abide in spontaneous equanimity is: the essence of the Great Perfection of intrinsic nature, the meaning established by the twelve great vajra laughs, and the eight great vajra words that purify the eight consciousness aggregates. Taking direct awareness, which transcends cause and effect, acceptance and rejection, as the path without changing in the three times. However, for great yogis who have reached such a state as to be able to compete with masters such as Padmasambhava, Vimalamitra, and Tilopa, it is said directly that there is no cause and effect, good or evil. But for those like us, although we understand it intellectually, we have not yet reached the point of familiarity. Therefore, one should not be afraid of the nature, and one must speak in conjunction with caution about subtle karmic results. As the omniscient father and son said, for those of lesser intelligence, it is only through distinguishing the two truths that they will initially realize it. Therefore, if one has recognized the state of experience as described above, then by continuing that continuity, one will gradually gain stability. For those dull faculties who have not severed their imputations, they should still recognize whatever disturbing thoughts arise and leave them in their own place, thereby cultivating the view of purification where the nature of disturbing emotions has become a state of being without a place to go and without roots, and strive to meditate and practice. For those with sharp faculties and great intelligence, by the key of the self-liberation of phenomena, no matter what disturbing thoughts arise, their nature cannot be established, just like a knot in a horse's tail that unties itself. Because of spontaneous liberation, there is no need to subdue it again with antidotes, nor to expand it like the Mind Series, nor to fixate on space like the Space Series, but to repeatedly practice in the natural state of the Instruction Series, in the experience beyond thought and intention. When one becomes familiar with that, in the state where awareness does not need to be cultivated, in the essence of wisdom where all virtues are naturally accomplished, one is completely perfected in a single unification. Therefore, there is no need to specifically practice the ten bhumis of the bodhisattva and the creation and completion stages of outer and inner mantras, because it is said in the *All-Creating King*: "Unmodified, uncultivated, awareness is spontaneously perfect." Thus. When practicing the path in this way, in general, what should be known in common is

Therefore, it is necessary to recognize the obstacles to meditation and rely on the antidotes to overcome them. As Prince Mapam said: Laziness and instructions, forgetfulness, sinking and excitement, non-application and application, these are the five faults. Thus it is said, the obstacles and the eight applications to overcome them are: abiding and abiding therein, cause and effect itself. Not forgetting the object, sinking and excitement and conceptualization, and the manifest application to overcome them, and abiding naturally when calm. Thus it is said, just as the antidotes are spoken of. That is, when one is in meditative equipoise, if conceptual thoughts increase more than before, or if one abides for a while and does not abide for a while, or even if one abides, there is a subtle application deep down that cannot be stopped, all three are signs of beginning to abide. Preventing the spread of conceptualization cannot be stopped, because endlessly expanding and entrusting it to Ar (a kind of practice), the power will weaken, or through non-distracted awareness, the spread is cut off, thereby obtaining the self-nature of abiding, and abiding in that state. As it is said: Just like a crow flying from a pond, circling and circling, and finally falling back there. Furthermore, if sinking, then eliminate foul air, the body should be upright, the gaze should look upwards, make awareness sharp, and strive to make clarity focused, thereby becoming clear. If excitement, then relax the body, the gaze should look downwards, relax the mind and clarity, and abide in the natural state, thereby becoming calm. In general, separately practice calm and insight, and sometimes in a clear cloudless sky, with one's back to the sun, restrain the gaze and look at the vastness of the sky. For example, opening the door of the empty clarity of the external sky, thereby making the sky of internal awareness, which is the example, completely pure, the sky of the secret luminous essence, the nature of reality that transcends all light and emptiness, without beginning or end, manifests in an instant. Slightly accustomed to and gaining stable practice, it is integrated with all activities and various circumstances. Therefore, everything appears as the play of reality. Without the distinction between meditation and post-meditation, transcending the calculation of hope and fear, thereby liberating into the state of primordial purity where phenomena are exhausted. At that time, not abandoning conceptual thoughts, but liberating from the root, therefore there is no need for the effort of liberating again. Whatever arises is liberated in its own place, therefore there is no antidote of mindfulness and grasping. Self-liberation in the naked appearance of the six objects, therefore awareness is free from prior and subsequent grasping.
