Introducing Experiential Meditation. Introducing Experiential Meditation. Introducing the State of Self-Abiding Meditation. Secondly, introducing experiential meditation: The great treasure revealer Gyurme Dorje said that there are two introductions: introducing the state of self-abiding meditation and introducing the play of self-radiant wisdom. Here, we should also do the same. Among them, the first is introducing the state of meditation: As it is said in the Precious Garland, "From the nature of the three stillnesses, the meaning of primordial purity becomes manifest." Therefore, the body is in the vajra posture, sitting still like a mountain king, which is the stillness of the body. The eyes are fixed straight ahead at a distance of about an arrow's length, unmoving like the ocean, which is the stillness of the eyes. The mind is not adjusted, but naturally abides in the original state of the innate nature of reality, effortlessly abiding, which is the stillness of awareness. Therefore, let it abide still in this way. Hey! Fortunate ones, do not be distracted now, but look at this naked awareness that is self-luminous! The stainless and pure Buddha is the self-aware Dharmakaya, which is immutable. Sa le seng nge wal le ba. Like the cloudless autumn sky. Abide unchangeably and steadily like a mountain! Abide immovably and clearly like the ocean! Abide broadly and without limitations like the sky! No matter how you abide, abide in the state of awareness! No matter how it arises, abide in the radiance of awareness! Shine, abide, and clearly abide in self-awareness! Just as birds fly anywhere, they do not go beyond the sky, so is the state of awareness. Abide with all phenomena self-luminous and unmoving! After saying this, by reciting the syllable "Phat (ཕཊ།)" and abandoning it into space, the previous state of non-thought also disappears. A thought of arising feeling, and awareness without clinging to the antidote to it, self-luminous and vast, arises like a base ground. This is the self-abiding meditation of awareness, so recognize this and transform the abiding of awareness. Whether good thoughts or bad thoughts arise, always look directly at the self-luminous and natural state, and the ungrasping self-abiding meditation will arise nakedly and clearly. This alone is effortless and spontaneously accomplished meditation, like the continuous flow of a river. Thus introduced, and after gaining some stability in it, by combining various behaviors with one's own experience, and mixing it with meditation, all actions, behaviors, thoughts, and concepts arise as the play of reality.

Without distinction after equality, without interval of day and night, without the dharma of acceptance and rejection, without the calculation of what to meditate on and who meditates, everything is recited in the self-radiant wisdom of awareness, the exhaustion of phenomena, the state of original purity. It is said. Likewise, in the Transcendent Change it is said: In the essence of original purity, wisdom, there is no existence called ignorance, therefore there is no counting of one and two, and even wisdom is not established. It is said. Introducing the play of self-radiant wisdom. Introducing abiding as the ornament of the mind. Secondly, introducing the play of self-radiant wisdom, there are three introductions: abiding as ornament, appearing as play, and non-dual equality. First, introducing abiding as the ornament of the mind: The three doors remain still and unmoving, naturally relaxed and abiding, and in that state, the acceptance and rejection of good and evil, the cessation and establishment of the mind, and all kinds of thoughts are naturally relaxed and let go. Like the waves of the great ocean subsiding, clear and unmoving, all the delusions of the mind, the proliferation of thoughts, are completely pacified, and the wisdom of clear emptiness arises simultaneously, in the original pure state of the original without delusion, relaxed and loose, clear and bright, this is the meaning of Trekchö, the mind itself. Moreover, the essence of mind itself, free from all proliferation, is the Dharmakaya, the nature of clarity without clinging is the Sambhogakaya, and the uninterrupted plan of compassion appearing in various forms is the Nirmanakaya. In its natural state, the three kayas are spontaneously accomplished without distinction, which is the ornament of the mind. This is how to introduce it, as it is said in Self-Arising: Transcending the extremes of permanence and annihilation, the defilements of the four extremes are naturally purified. And, awareness without thought is the Dharmakaya, awareness without cessation is the Sambhogakaya, awareness appearing in any form is the Nirmanakaya. And, in the Transcendent Change it is said: When wisdom abides in its own place, it is indivisible in three ways. It is said. Introducing appearance as the play of the mind. Secondly, introducing appearance as the play of the mind: Thus, in the state of mind being clear and non-conceptual, the uninterrupted self-nature appearance, whatever thought arises, there is no welcoming or sending off, abiding without changing, appearing without stopping, equality without establishing, without stopping, establishing, accepting or rejecting, whatever thoughts appear
