Although I have entered the gate of the Buddha's teachings, due to ignorance, carelessness, and afflictions, regarding the vows of individual liberation, the bodhisattva vows, and the secret mantra, the protections, disciplines, trainings, and commitments, I confess all failures, downfalls, misdeeds, violations, impairments, breaches, and degenerations that have occurred. In particular, I confess causing displeasure to the glorious Lama, transgressing his commands, scolding and rebuking fellow practitioners, abandoning loving-kindness, and the degeneration of the arising of bodhicitta. I confess disparaging philosophical views, proclaiming secrets, despising the aggregates, being filled with doubt, engaging in wrong conduct, perceiving offerings as meaningless, and causing faithful ones to lose faith. I confess not relying on samaya substances, disparaging women, relying on seals before maturity, stealing nectar, not keeping samaya substances secret, arguing in gatherings, and misleading worthy vessels with the Lesser Vehicle. I confess all degenerations and transgressions, including root downfalls and major branch downfalls, due to associating with inferior individuals, deceiving with lies, and teaching the Dharma to those who lack faith. I confess the degeneration of the body's samaya due to wrong views, evil speech, and harmful actions towards the Vajra Master, deities, mudras, and vajra siblings. I confess the degeneration of the speech's samaya due to distraction in the generation and meditation samadhi, the four mudras not being clear, and the interruption of impure recitations and mantras. I confess the degeneration of the mind's samaya due to entrusting the ten secrets, speaking of degenerations, and engaging in careless and coarse conduct in secret places. I confess the degeneration of the knowledge's samaya due to ignorance and distraction regarding the aggregates, elements, sense faculties, objects, the five wisdoms, and the five male and female Buddhas, and not realizing union. I confess the degeneration of not attaining the result due to the short duration of meditation and contemplation on the five Buddhas of the five families to be accomplished, although they are inherently not different from oneself.
