Herein lies the treatise called "The Precious Sun of Instructions." Herein lies the treatise called "The Precious Sun of Instructions." Namo Guruye. Homage to the Guru) I prostrate with reverence to the supreme Guru. Listen well to this beneficial instruction, and respectfully put it into practice. Kyaiho! Friends, contemplate the meaning of the Dharmadhatu. Whether you realize the meaning of Dharmata or not, Do not fall to any side, like the sky itself. However, because sentient beings arise suddenly, they are uncertain. Due to ignorance, they grasp at a self, and thus become confused. Because of not realizing, they are deceived by the illusion of inversion. The grasping and fixation of conceptual thoughts turn the wheel of illusion. They sink into the ocean of karma and afflictions of samsara. Alas! How distressed are the beings of existence! Desiring happiness, they sink deeper and deeper into suffering. Because of being accustomed to the four paths of inversion, Like a wheel of samsara without liberation, The cycle of conceptual thoughts will never end existence. Therefore, having understood the characteristics of illusion, Generate a strong renunciation of the phenomena of samsara. Like the arena of demons, the court of Yama, This place of samsara has no happiness, only great suffering. Like a dark path and a pathless wilderness, Wandering in the city of existence without a path to liberation. Like a great cliff and a bottomless ocean, It is the nature of suffering without a time for liberation. Like a pit of fire and the teeth of a crocodile, Tormented by various sufferings of birth, old age, sickness, and death. Like grass on a cliff and honey on a razor's edge, Falling into the lower realms, cutting off the life force of liberation. Like a moth to a flame and the touch of a Rakshasa woman, Attachment and clinging give rise to immeasurable suffering. Like the example of dreams and illusions, Although they seem true, they are deceptive and changing. Just like food mixed with poison, It seems pleasant for a while, but ultimately causes great suffering. Such a sea of suffering in samsara, Although it does not exist in reality, it appears in the mind of illusion. The illusion of the six external aggregates of objects, And the five aggregates of clinging to existence within, As well as the secret grasping and fixation, the eight consciousnesses of conceptual thought, etc., These are all illusions, the nature of suffering, They are the untrue, deceptive causes and effects of existence. To the city of existence, the suffering of samsara, Do not be attached, do not be infatuated, let go now! At this time when you have obtained the precious leisure and endowment of a human body, Do not let
