Explanation of the Stages of View Kawa Peltseg Explanation of the Stages of View Explanation of the Stages of View is presented. I prostrate to the lotus eyes, and will explain the stages of view. Samsara and Nirvana, appear from one like gold. The appearances of categories are five, three, and two. Having known them, one should adopt and abandon. All is within the realm of the essence of enlightenment, In the nature of a blooming lotus, One's own entangling thoughts are pressed down by mountains. One's own stream of being has perverse appearances due to conditions. Ordinary people and non-Buddhists, Appear with six and permanence/cessation. Even beings who have become like blind people, Appear to perceive as if looking at people on high ground. Hellish minds appear as people, etc. Hungry ghosts' sinful minds appear as impure places. Animals appear as cliffs going up and down. Humans see this very realm. Likewise, Asuras see weapons. Gods' virtuous minds see jewels. Since anything can appear, seeing is not true. Ordinary people are robbed by thoughts. Various illusions appear as inside and outside. Conceptualizations arise as terms of designation. Non-Buddhists have a distorted view due to conditions. They are deceived by the teachings of the six teachers. In short, nihilistic non-Buddhists, See only momentary appearances as limitless. They consider permanence, created appearances, to be real things. They also speak of non-causes as causes. They consider nature to be the cause, power to be the cause. They say that essence is the cause, And they consider atoms to be the cause, And they consider the agent to be the cause, which is wrong. Furthermore, there are incidental non-Buddhists. Outsiders and Valid Cognitionists, Mantrayana practitioners and Great Mantrayana practitioners, Two, three, and five are the aspects of causes. Three and two appear as the aspects of results. Those who grasp at self look at four things. The view of those who have transcended the world, Is also superior to other views. Hearers, solitary realizers, Sutra followers, Kriya (藏文:ཀྲྀ་ཡ་,梵文天城体:क्रिया,梵文罗马拟音:kriyā,汉语字面意思:Action), Upa (藏文:ཨུ་པ་,梵文天城体:उप,梵文罗马拟音:upa,汉语字面意思:Near), and Correct, Likewise, the Vehicle of Yoga, The Vehicle of Maha Yoga, The Vehicle of Anu Yoga, The Vehicle of Ati Yoga, Hearers who only see Dharma, The Sutra followers and the Vaibhashikas, Argue about external objects, And agree that consciousness appears momentarily. Likewise, the Vehicle of Solitary Realizers, The twelve external realms are only illusions. Even atoms are superior because they do not consist of parts. Consciousness agrees with momentary appearance. The Characteristic Vehicle also has three aspects. The Mind-Only School and the Yogachara School, Likewise, the Sutra-based Madhyamika School. Mind-Only

Outwardly, the arrogant ones, Like having no thin horse, Desire their own consciousness's deluded appearances, Desire the wisdom of ultimate truth in an instant. Yoga Madhyamaka, conventional truth agrees, Ultimate truth, emptiness, desires non-arising. Sutra, conventional truth is merely illusion, View objects as appearing in reverse. As holy ones, they are free from two extremes, They consider it the Great Madhyamaka. Kriya views the ultimate truth as the nature of reality, Views conventional truth as self-awareness, qualities. Upon the appearance of the three family mandalas, They desire beings to be without delusion. Both are the practice of the tantra, The view and practice are consistent from top to bottom. The ultimate truth of Yoga is utterly pure, In the wisdom of the sphere of reality, Blessings of realization appear as deities, Beings are deluded by seeing these as deities. In the ultimate truth of Maha Yoga, Self and other are non-dual, just as it is. The miraculous displays of realization, such as the six, In the state of seeming appearance, there is no cycle of existence. In the ultimate truth of Anu Yoga, Great bliss realization is the skill of awareness, The conventional truth is the appearance of the deity's mandala, Therefore, beings create conceptualizations. Ati Yoga is free from the two truths, All that is self-arisen, self-appearing, Wisdom is free from beginning and end, Both conceptualizations are primordially absent. Therefore, like seeing gold in gold, It is seeing the truth as it is, without error. Since the nature of equality is not fixed, It appears as it is viewed. Things are not permanent or existent, If they were, they would appear the same to everyone. Therefore, one's own mind appears as its essence, Since one conceptualization is not one object, There is no doubt that delusion appears. Therefore, the object of experience is primordially absent, The conceptual mind is the mind of each individual being. If it were one, then the ripening of virtue and vice, Even those who have not practiced would experience. If not, it would not be the true meaning, Since the ripening is not common. Since it is not one, that nature is unborn, It should not be a different meaning either, It is liberation from one and different. Various things are conceptualized, There is no proof established by name. Therefore, there is no characteristic whatsoever, To think of existence in what is not established, A magical person can know, But the Victorious One himself does not know. Since the object of experience is not established by appearance, The knowledge of the object cannot exist. Since the object of experience is unborn, it is wisdom, The nature of reality to be meditated upon is not separate. Since the wisdom of mind is free from extremes, The meditator is also
