With it, copper is the most excellent. For all things to be purified, then for zinc as well, I shall thoroughly explain the method of purification. One should diligently grind it, making it into a fine powder. With hot alkaline water, the wise should knead it for seven days. Again, adding acidic substances, it should be given in three containers. This is the purification method described, like the ritual of zinc. The staff should be diligently ground, making it into a fine powder. With hot alkaline water, the powder itself should be purified again. Use it seven times in between, and again purify with acidic substances. Add lead and burn it on the fire, until it becomes copper. For anything that turns copper-colored, add copper again for purification. What is said to make a sound, I have explained the main part. Also, I have explained the purification of lead, I have explained how it is appropriate. Burning with white mustard powder, purify with sandalwood milk. Purify many times, making the powder clean, purify it in the sun. In the fire place, melting and on the powder, one must purify with lead. After seven times it will become pure, wash it with the juice of three fruits. This is the purification method described, like the purification of lead and tin. With the substance of Kuna's Di, and the juice of wine flowers, mix the powder of Da. Tin is used repeatedly in turn, ghee of bright wisdom, or with Karanja ghee. Wash and scatter, by repeatedly explaining purification, eliminate many faults. After adding a little lead, the astrologer should burn it on the fire. After it becomes like that, with urine, the wise should wash it three times. Then from beginning to end, wash it seven times. Therefore, it will become pure, do not doubt this. It has been said not to purify gold, its six merits, first with alkali and urine, wash with as much acidic substance as possible. Mixing ghee and honey, applying it will not be exhausted again. By this one can accomplish siddhi, like the order of gold. It has been said to tame iron, how from the unchanging purification, like gold and silver, how much shiny iron, and its sharp objects, after purifying first.
