Thus. The transformation of actions is called. Afflicted by sufferings. Having the nature of aging and death. By afflictions, diseases, and causes, etc. Why is everything tormented? Therefore, one should have great compassion. All the sins of all sentient beings, May they all ripen upon me, Thus, taking on sins and acting, Suffering from the poverty of beings. To the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, And the noble ones and sentient beings, In all times and places, I rejoice in all their merits. Gathering is extremely difficult to do, The Buddha's Dharma is the supreme Dharma, The activity of benefiting sentient beings, The Buddhas always remember. Diligent in listening to many teachings, Thinking about the meaning as it is, And gathering the wisdom of sentient beings, By contemplating dependent origination, In a moment of mere action, One should enter into non-action. Thinking of all things as dependent origination, Constantly familiarizing oneself with the meaning of selflessness, The accumulation of omniscient wisdom, Will increase in the ultimate sense. The Bodhicitta will gradually increase, All accumulations will be perfected. Thus, by the power of merit and wisdom, Having filled the natural water flow, Extremely skilled in liberating beings, The Bodhi resides in the palm of the hand. Giving, loving speech, and beneficial conduct, Acting in accordance with the meaning itself, Thus, the objects of gathering, Can benefit sentient beings. To whom should one give charity, To whom should one speak lovingly, For whom should one perform beneficial actions, For whom should one act in accordance, Thus, by constant diligence, Do whatever one can for the benefit of beings. Take everything of others as one's own, Give one's own dwelling to others. The Admonition on the Collection, composed by the teacher Vasubandhu, is complete. Translated, revised, and finalized by the Indian Abbot Gangadhara and the great translator Bhikshu Rinchen Zangpo (宝贤). Words on the Collection, by Vasubandhu.
