Do kun le dupe don dupe. Do kun le dupe don dupe. In the language of India: Sūtra Samuccaya Sañcaya Arthaḥ. In the Tibetan language: Do kun le dupe don dupe. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The meaning of the compilation of all sutras, as stated in the Ratnavali composed by the teacher Nāgārjuna, is: One should realize the special means of accomplishing through the seven types of pith instruction sutras. The practice and cultivation are as follows: namely, the sutra of the support of leisure and endowment, the sutra of the foundation of faith, the sutra of the root of bodhicitta, the sutra of eliminating obstacles, the sutra of diligently making practice the essence, the sutra of training the mind in one vehicle, and the sutra of traversing the great path with qualities. Why is that? Just as all lower formations depend on the wind mandala, all white dharmas arise depending on the support of perfect leisure and endowment. For example, just as all plants, flowers, trees, medicines, and so on, grow depending on the earth, all qualities of dharma increase depending on the foundation of faith, which protects and increases them. For example, just as from an unerring root or seed, the trunk, branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits gradually grow and ripen, from the root of generating the mind for omniscience, the fruit of omniscience will arise. But not from the mind generation of hearers, solitary realizers, and worldly people will omniscience arise. Therefore, wanting to attain the ten perfections, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the four immeasurables, the four fruits of the ascetic, and the transcendence of permanence, happiness, self, and purity, one should firmly grasp the root of generating the mind for omniscience. For example, even if seeds of barley, wheat, rice, and so on are well sown and the roots are well established, if frost, hail, and rust, and so on, cause obstacles in the intermediate stage, the collection of grains will not ripen.

Nor can it benefit those beings who live on food of... Similarly, having obtained leisure and endowment, and abiding in faith, having planted the seed of bodhicitta without error, and having established the root without error, but in the intermediate stage, if one abandons sentient beings, harms bodhisattvas, creates various demonic deeds, abandons the sacred Dharma, commits the ten non-virtuous actions, and does not repent, etc., if these things that are harmful to the body in this life and the next are interrupted, then one will also correspondingly fall from the supreme support, fall into a place of no leisure, fall from the supreme vehicle, fall into a narrow vehicle, and fall from the supreme diligence, and become distant from omniscience. Therefore, indirectly, one will also fall from the work of benefiting others, thereby wasting all the benefits of oneself and others. For example, if a wish-fulfilling jewel is not well protected by a careless person, there is a danger that it will be destroyed by carelessness. Similarly, if one does not make it the core of diligent practice to not waste what has been obtained, to have firm faith, to not change the root, and to eliminate harmful obstacles, then there is a danger that the wish-fulfilling jewel of bodhicitta will be lost forever. For example, on a rugged mountain road, one will feel confused and hesitant about the direction one is going. Similarly, if the mind is bound by various views, one will not be able to realize the suchness of all dharmas, therefore there is a danger of wisdom falling into various vehicles. If one wants the external crops to be abundant, one must diligently cultivate the land with one mind, similarly, if one wants to obtain all the great qualities of the Buddha, if one does not walk the path of the cause of obtaining these qualities, then one will not be able to surpass the position of the initial practitioner. Therefore, the Sutra Collected by the Great Vehicle is neither too much nor too little, it is just like that. The order should also be understood in this way: the first three are the cause, the reason for doing things; the middle three are the condition, the reason for dependence; and the last is the result, the reason for the nature of Dharma. The seven examples are the reason for establishing the reason. Among them, the emergence of the Buddha is difficult to obtain, etc., are the favorable conditions of other dependent arisings.
