That is, there is no fixed food, no fixed time, no fixed conduct, and no fixed constellations for this. However, how can one who engages in this yoga not lose the mindfulness of the Buddha? One should not desire the help of a dwelling place. One should not be pleased by praise, fame, happiness, and gain; even if joy arises, one should strive to destroy it. Similarly, one should not be saddened by blame, obscurity, suffering, and loss; even if sadness arises, one should strive diligently to destroy it. Whoever practices in this way is called mindfulness of the guru Buddha. Thus, it is also said in the Holy Lankavatara Sutra: Thus, birth and destruction are abandoned, who sees the peaceful Thubpa (sage), they will also become without attachment and without clinging in this and the future. Thus it is said. It is also said: How can one see who sees as seen? They do not see mindfulness. Conceptual thought does not arise, and when the Buddha is not seen, the unborn Buddha is that, and if one sees it, that is the Buddha. Thus it is said. It is also said: Whoever, like the sands of the Ganges, reaches the ultimate in fearless manner, is the one who sees the guide very clearly, and they see the guide. Thus it is said. Similarly, in the Holy Diamond Cutter Sutra of the Perfection of Wisdom, it is also said: Whoever knows me by sound, and whoever sees me by form, that person has entered the wrong path and cannot see the Tathagata. The Buddhas contemplate the nature of Dharma, the guides contemplate the Dharmakaya, the nature of Dharma is not to be known, therefore it cannot be known. Thus it is said. Similarly, in the Sutra called "The Ornament of the Light of Wisdom Entering the Realm of All Buddhas," it is also said: The ever-constant unborn Dharma is the Tathagata, all Dharmas are equal to the Sugata, those who grasp at signs with childish minds practice non-Dharma in the world. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in the Holy Eight Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, it is also said: The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are the Dharmakaya, monks, do not grasp at the aggregates as the body, monks, you should see me as the complete Dharmakaya. Thus it is said.

Sa. The body of the Tathagata is the true limit, constant as such, and is to be viewed in the Prajnaparamita. Again, it is said in the same scripture: The Tathagata is not to be viewed as a form body, the Tathagata is the Dharma body. Son of lineage, the nature of Dharma has no coming or going, son of lineage, likewise the Tathagatas have no coming or going. Moreover, it is also said in the Holy Lankavatara Sutra: There is no person and no aggregates, the Buddha's wisdom is without outflows, constantly peaceful and well contemplated, in that I take refuge. Thus, contemplating the body as without self-nature, speech as without self-nature, and mind as without self-nature, is to recollect the Dharma body. Furthermore, holding pride in the divine body that desires to benefit and delight, is to recollect the form body. Having cultivated such recollection, the conduct of the body should not change the rules, one should walk alone, only protect from harm, not decorate the body, live by begging, and not engage in inappropriate service. The conduct of speech should not be to speak meaningless words, but to speak pleasing words with connection, not to speak words that cause others to be annoyed, speak after thinking first, speak clearly and with examples to guide, speak so that others can answer. The conduct of the mind should be stable, gentle, not arrogant, not timid, overcome all directions, not look at the faces of others, and not be distracted, be accompanied by mindfulness and awareness. Whoever engages in such recollection and conduct will soon obtain excellent prosperity. Just as a lotus in water blooms and brings joy with the rays of the sun, the supreme recollection lotus also brings joy with the rays of the scriptures, like a garland of lotuses, with this well-spoken teaching, may all beings never be separated from the supreme Buddha recollection, strive for this! Supreme recollection of the Buddha, called following the sutras, was composed by the great mandala Acharya Mahamati, completed. Acharya Vinayachandra and the translator Bhikshu Dharmamati translated.
