Bhāvanākrama. Nāgārjuna. Bhāvanākrama. Nāgārjuna. In Sanskrit: Bhāvanākrama. In Tibetan: Bhāvanākrama. Homage to youthful Mañjuśrī! The extremely joyful and the stainless, the illuminating and the radiant, the difficult to tame and the manifest, the far-gone and the immovable, the good intellect and the cloud of dharma, are called the ground of the Buddha. Just as the mirage in the hot season, with the knowledge of delusion and movement, whatever the wild animals perceive as water, that thing does not exist. Likewise, whatever seed of consciousness, in the realm of experience where movement is seen, with whatever haze and darkness, then the grasping of children arises. Giving and having given, and likewise generosity, abandoning and seeing as true, these are merely discriminations, knowing this, the yogi is liberated. This dharma without essence, arises entirely from discrimination, whatever is discriminated is also emptiness, thus emptiness is liberation. Just as when the great ocean is exhausted, there is no arising of waves. Likewise, various consciousnesses, there is no entering into the unreal. Because it is empty and things are not established, illusory things do not arise. Likewise, existence is non-existent, things are like a dream. Seeing one's own essence as one, is seeing the realm of the noble ones. The duality of things will be abandoned, there is no grasper and no grasped, there is no bondage and no binding. Illusion is like a mirage, dreams are like spoken haze. When one sees the meaning of that, then the yogi enters into equipoise, there is no non-discriminating speech, one's own seeing is without doubt, like the dharma of space is unique, in which there is no slight discrimination. Likewise, this dharma is conscious, there is no slight knowing. Arising and abiding, appear to foolish children, but for those who see with wisdom and knowledge, there is no birth and no abiding. Always with non-discriminating reasoning, having completely abandoned mind and mental factors, one's own self dwells greatly as a deity, all sins are completely abandoned. Thus, the knower is the complete and perfect Buddha, understand these as emanations, having obtained power over the strength of clairvoyance, he equally knows beings. First Chapter

Freed from earth and limits, completely abandoning existence and non-existence, attained the state of equality, various things arise from non-existence. Connected with the causes of the mind, bodies enter thereby. From various causes, there is definite arising, I do not say that "I" exists. Just as the height and depth of a drawing, appear but are not real. Likewise, the essence of things, what is seen is not real. Like a Gandharva city, and deer perceiving water as illusion, constantly appearing and being fixated upon, but wisdom considers it non-existent. What children have drawn and are drawing, and those who have power over clairvoyance, the fruit of illusion-like samadhi is also like illusion. Due to the power of mirages and magic, when grasping that which does not exist, because of mental events, mind, and selflessness, therefore children are afraid. Where there is no arising at all, contradictory causes do not exist. For arising and ceasing, the cause is only conceptualization. Those that arise as mere consciousness, are not the nature of things. The logician who becomes conceptualization, when meditating on mere imputation, there is no nature, no consciousness, no thing, and no alaya. These are wildly imputed by children, produced by bad arguments. Here there is no mind, no form, there is nothing more than a deluded mind. Abiding in all arising places, when the mind fully enters, then the yogi does not abide, when observing beings with reason, signs, things, consciousness, and the movement of the mind do not exist. What is the root of selflessness, destroyed by conceptualization. Objects exist like dreams, karma and fruit are the action itself, and cannot be determined at any time. Meditations and immeasurables, and formless absorptions, and cessation of perception, all abide in mind-only. Conceptualization, the conceptualizer, what is completely conceptualized by conceptualization, for the correct view, it is emptiness. The noble ones do not see delusion, that itself is not from other than that. Earth does not exist, truth does not exist, realms and emanations do not exist. Pratyekabuddhas and Buddhas, and Shravakas are also created by conceptualization. Persons, continuums, aggregates, and causes do not exist.
